+ Putting THE DAY OF THE LORD into perspective!

+ Words were formed from inspired thoughts to penetrate the minds of humankind, wanting souls in all nations to know that we entered into the thousand-year DAY OF THE LORD at midnight on 19 March 2006. This supernatural event came upon us, unexpectedly, as a "thief in the night."

+ This information COPIED from CBS/AP should convince any rational person that certain Palestinians aka Arabs aka Muslims aka Islamists aka descendents of Ishmael are spiritually corrupted haters of Jews and Christians who will stop at nothing to destroy their enemies!

+ Now we have "Suicide Sisters?" For those who do not know, you can
learn from reading the Bible that Ishmael was the first son of Abraham. His mother was Hagar. Hagar was the Egyptian handmaid to Sarah, Abraham's wife. Ishmael was the half-brother of Isaac, the son of Abraham and Sarah. Sarah had been unable to have children. So she gave her maid, Hagar, to Abraham so an heir would be born.

Ishmael was born when Abraham was 86 years of age. Fourteen years later, Isaac was born. When Isaac was weaned, Abraham gave a party to celebrate the occasion. Sarah noticed that Ishmael teased Isaac, and she told Abraham to send Hagar and Ishmael away.

Sarah upset Abraham, but the Lord told him to do as she had requested, because Isaac was to be the heir of Abraham, to inherit the promises that God had made to Abraham and his offspring as explained in Genesis 21:12-13.

Hagar and Ishmael left Abraham. They went to live in the wilderness of Paran. God blessed Ishmael and he became an expert archer. His mother arranged a marriage for him with a girl from Egypt. Ishmael had twelve sons, and they became the founders of the twelve tribes that bore their names: Nebaioth, Kedar, Abdeel, Mibsam, Mishma, Dumah, Massa, Hadad, Tema, Jetur, Naphish and Kedmah. Through the years, these tribes were scattered across many lands.

Ishmael died at the age of 137, and now many centuries later, his descendants are still trying to compete with the descendants of Isaac. We
are living in the prophesied generation that will witness a final confrontation between arch enemies. The events that we see transpiring in the Middle East on a daily basis are leading the nations of this world to Armageddon -- simply because the sons of Abraham are willing to die in the hope of receiving the God-promised inheritance.

Skeptics should be warned: These facts are not based on superstition or myth!

+ Many things will happen during this "great and dreadful day!"

"For THE DAY OF THE LORD of hosts shall be upon every one that
is proud and lofty, and upon every one that is lifted up; and he shall be brought low: And upon all the cedars of Lebanon, that are high and lifted up, and upon all the oaks of Bashan, And upon all the high mountains, and upon all the hills that are lifted up, And upon every high tower, and upon every fenced wall, And upon all the ships of Tarshish, and upon all pleasant pictures. And the loftiness of man shall be bowed down, and the haughtiness of men shall be made low: and the LORD alone shall be exalted in that day. And the idols he shall utterly abolish. And they shall go into the holes of the rocks, and into the caves of the earth, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth. In that day a man shall cast his idols of silver, and his idols of gold, which they made each one for himself to worship, to the moles and to the bats; To go into the clefts of the rocks, and into the
tops of the ragged rocks, for fear of the LORD, and for the glory of his majesty, when he ariseth to shake terribly the earth. Cease ye from man, whose breath is in his nostrils: for wherein is he to be accounted of ?" Isaiah 2:12-22

+ We will witness a transition of power making the young our masters.

"For, behold, the Lord, the LORD of hosts, doth take away from Jerusalem and from Judah the stay and the staff, the whole stay of bread, and the whole stay of water, The mighty man, and the man of war, the judge, and the prophet, and the prudent, and the ancient, The captain of fifty, and the honourable man, and the counsellor, and the cunning artificer, and the eloquent orator. And I will give children to be their princes, and babes shall rule over them." Isaiah 3:1-4

+ God Himself will pour out his wrath, causing great destruction in ways that even the heathen will believe the DAY OF THE LORD has arrived.

"I have commanded my sanctified ones, I have also called my mighty
ones for mine anger, even them that rejoice in my highness. The noise
of a multitude in the mountains, like as of a great people; a tumultuous noise of the kingdoms of nations gathered together: the LORD of hosts mustereth the host of the battle. They come from a far country, from the end of heaven, even the LORD, and the weapons of his indignation, to destroy the whole land. Howl ye; for THE DAY OF THE LORD is at hand; it shall come as a destruction from the Almighty." Isaiah 13:3-6

+ Those who read these words must be cautioned not to equate the DAY OF THE LORD with earthly manmade calendars. Events will unfold slowly, one following another until all is done.

"Behold, THE DAY OF THE LORD cometh, cruel both with wrath and fierce anger, to lay the land desolate: and he shall destroy the sinners thereof out of it. For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine. And I will punish the world for their evil, and the wicked for their iniquity; and I will cause the arrogancy of the proud to cease, and will lay low the haughtiness of the terrible. I will make a man more precious than fine gold; even a man than the golden wedge of Ophir. Therefore I will shake the heavens, and the earth shall remove out of her place, in the wrath of the LORD of hosts, and in the day of his fierce anger. And it shall be as the chased roe, and as a sheep that no man taketh up: they shall every man turn to his own people, and flee every one into his own land. Every one that is found shall be thrust through; and every one that is joined unto them shall fall by the sword. Their children also shall be dashed to pieces before their eyes; their houses shall be spoiled, and their wives ravished. Behold, I will stir up the Medes against them, which shall not regard silver; and as for gold, they shall not delight in it. Their bows also shall dash the young men to pieces; and they shall have no pity on the fruit of the womb; their eye shall not spare children. And Babylon, the glory of kingdoms, the beauty of the Chaldees' excellency, shall be as when God overthrew Sodom
and Gomorrah." Isaiah 13:9-19

+ Vengeance belongs to God!

"For this is THE DAY OF THE LORD GOD of hosts, a day of vengeance, that he may avenge him of his adversaries: and the sword shall devour, and it shall be satiate and made drunk with their blood: for the Lord GOD of hosts hath a sacrifice in the north country by the river Euphrates." Jeremiah 46:10

+ Israeli false prophets have refused to recognize Jesus as the promised Messiah. Because of their mistaken influence upon religious and political leaders, the sons of Abraham will suffer needlessly.

"Son of man, prophesy against the prophets of Israel that prophesy, and say thou unto them that prophesy out of their own hearts, Hear ye the word of the LORD; Thus saith the Lord GOD; Woe unto the foolish prophets, that follow their own spirit, and have seen nothing! O Israel,
thy prophets are like the foxes in the deserts. Ye have not gone up into
the gaps, neither made up the hedge for the house of Israel to stand in
the battle in THE DAY OF THE LORD." Ezekiel 13:2-5

+ Readers of these words must realize that "a cloudy day" denotes "confusion" because the "heathen" are in control of powerful economic institutions and governments.

"For the day is near, even THE DAY OF THE LORD is near, a cloudy day; it shall be the time of the heathen. And the sword shall come upon Egypt, and great pain shall be in Ethiopia, when the slain shall fall in Egypt, and they shall take away her multitude, and her foundations shall be broken down." Ezekiel 30:3&4

+ When fires have done untold damage to many lands, and there is no longer an abundance of food, how many rebellious souls will ultimately turn their hearts back to God?

"Sanctify ye a fast, call a solemn assembly, gather the elders and all the inhabitants of the land into the house of the LORD your God, and cry unto the LORD, Alas for the day! for THE DAY OF THE LORD is at hand, and as a destruction from the Almighty shall it come. Is not the meat cut off before our eyes, yea, joy and gladness from the house of our God? The seed is rotten under their clods, the garners are laid desolate, the barns are broken down; for the corn is withered. How do the beasts groan! the herds of cattle are perplexed, because they have no pasture; yea, the flocks of sheep are made desolate. O LORD, to thee will I cry: for the FIRE hath devoured the pastures of the wilderness, and the FLAME hath burned all the trees of the field." Joel 1:14-19

+ Land shall become as stubble under the feet of wicked wanderers who have been shaken by events, finally being made to leave the past behind while land refined by FIRE will be as the "garden of Eden" for those who
are children of Light.

"Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for THE DAY OF THE LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand; A day of darkness and of gloominess, a
day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.
A FIRE devoureth before them; and behind them a FLAME burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them." Joel 2:1-3

+ Life on Earth preceding Armageddon will be beyond catastrophic. The final war will come shortly after the "stars withdraw their shining."

"The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining: And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for THE DAY OF THE LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?" Joel 2:10&11

+ Atmospheric conditions for this planet were such during the time Holy Words were written by prophets that much of what we now take for granted had not yet occurred. We have already witnessed "wonders" in the form of intergalactic upheavals, thinning of the ozone shield in the stratosphere, unusual natural disasters, death-causing diseases from contaminated blood, fire and smoke coming out of nuclear explosions -- all of which has made visibility of the sun impossible at certain times for certain people.

The moon appears "red in color" -- just like blood -- during a total eclipse. This is because most of the comparatively small amount of light which reaches the moon's surface is within the shadow cast upon it by Earth. All but the red portion of the spectrum has been filtered out due to the curvature of our planet. The contaminated atmosphere acts as a filter, preventing transmission of the blue portion of the spectrum -- but allows the longer
red wavelengths to pass through.

Credible Bible scholars and scientists can confirm how these events described in Joel 2:30&31 can be confirmed as happening before 19 March 2006: "And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and the terrible DAY OF THE LORD come."

+ Every person in every nation on Earth presently find themselves in crisis! An invisible "dividing line" has been separating those who follow Jesus and those who follow Satan. Decisions to choose the way of goodness rather than the way of evil are being made by "multitudes" who sense that "finality"
is drawing closer. Only if the right choices are made while in the "valley" will a mountain-top reality become possible.

"Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision: for THE DAY OF THE LORD is near in the valley of decision." Joel 3:14

+ Serious-minded people might wonder what could happen if North Korea, Iran, China, Russia, India, Pakistan -- and others including America -- somehow participated in pollution of the atmosphere through uncontrolled nuclear disasters?

"Therefore the LORD, the God of hosts, the Lord, saith thus; Wailing shall be in all streets; and they shall say in all the highways, Alas! alas! and they shall call the husbandman to mourning, and such as are skilful of lamentation to wailing. And in all vineyards shall be wailing: for I will pass through thee, saith the LORD. Woe unto you that desire THE DAY OF THE LORD! to what end is it for you? THE DAY OF THE LORD is darkness, and not light. As if a man did flee from a lion, and a bear met him; or went into the house, and leaned his hand on the wall, and a serpent bit him. Shall not THE DAY OF THE LORD be darkness, and
not light? even very dark, and no brightness in it?" Amos 5:16-20

+ Vengeance belongs to God!

"But thou shouldest not have looked on the day of thy brother in the day that he became a stranger; neither shouldest thou have rejoiced over the children of Judah in the day of their destruction; neither shouldest thou have spoken proudly in the day of distress. Thou shouldest not have entered into the gate of my people in the day of their calamity; yea, thou shouldest not have looked on their affliction in the day of their calamity, nor have laid hands on their substance in the day of their calamity; Neither shouldest thou have stood in the crossway, to cut off those of his that did escape; neither shouldest thou have delivered up those of his that did remain in the day of distress. For THE DAY OF THE LORD is near upon all the heathen: as thou hast done, it shall be done unto thee: thy reward shall return upon thine own head." Obadiah 1:12-15

+ Vengeance belongs to God!

"The great DAY OF THE LORD is near, it is near, and hasteth greatly, even the voice of THE DAY OF THE LORD: the mighty man shall cry there bitterly. That day is a day of wrath, a day of trouble and distress, a day of wasteness and desolation, a day of darkness and gloominess, a day of clouds and thick darkness, A day of the trumpet and alarm against the fenced cities, and against the high towers. And I will bring distress upon men, that they shall walk like blind men, because they have sinned against the LORD: and their blood shall be poured out as dust, and their flesh as the dung." Zephaniah 1:14-17

+ Vengeance belongs to God at Armageddon!

"Behold, THE DAY OF THE LORD cometh, and thy spoil shall be divided in the midst of thee. For I will gather all nations against Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be taken, and the houses rifled,
and the women ravished; and half of the city shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be cut off from the city. Then shall the LORD go forth, and fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle. And his feet shall stand in that day upon the mount of Olives, which is before Jerusalem on the east, and the mount of Olives shall cleave in the midst thereof toward the east and toward the west, and there shall be a very great valley; and half of the mountain shall remove toward the north, and half of it toward the south." Zechariah 14:1-4

+ Elijah was here, but now he is gone! Now we await the "curse."

"For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts. Remember ye the law of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments. Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet BEFORE the coming of the great and dreadful DAY OF THE LORD: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse." Malachi 4:1-6

+ The "name of the Lord" is Jesus!

"And it shall come to pass IN THE LAST DAYS, saith God, I will pour
out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy: And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and
fire, and vapour of smoke: THE SUN SHALL BE TURNED INTO DARKNESS, AND THE MOON INTO BLOOD, BEFORE THAT GREAT AND NOTABLE DAY OF THE LORD COME: And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved."
Acts 2:17-21

+ There will be no "night" or "darkness" for children of God!

"But ye, brethren, ARE NOT IN DARKNESS, that THAT DAY should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children
of the day: WE ARE NOT OF THE NIGHT, NOR THE DARKNESS."
1 Thessalonians 5:4&5

+ Death of "flesh" might be necessary to save "spirits?"

"It is reported commonly that there is fornication among you, and such fornication as is not so much as named among the Gentiles, that one should have his father's wife. And ye are puffed up, and have not rather mourned, that he that hath done this deed might be taken away from among you. For I verily, as absent in body, but present in spirit, have judged already, as though I were present, concerning him that hath
so done this deed, In the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, when ye are gathered together, and my spirit, with the power of our Lord Jesus
Christ, To deliver such an one unto Satan for the destruction of the
flesh, that the spirit may be saved in THE DAY OF THE LORD
Jesus."1 Corinthians 5:1-5

+ The "dead in Christ" were taken at midnight on 19 March 2006. Those of us who "are alive and remain" will join the others before the end of this generation.

"For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in
Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that THE DAY OF THE LORD so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon
a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not
in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him." 1 Thessalonians 4:15-18 & 5:1-10

+ Repent or perish! Rebellious souls will experience "fire" when the "heavens shall pass away" and the "elements and the earth shall melt with fervent heat" at the end of this DAY OF THE LORD.

"Knowing this first, that there shall come IN THE LAST DAYS scoffers, walking after their own lusts, And saying, Where is the promise of his coming? for since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of the creation. For this they willingly are ignorant of, that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of the water and in the water: Whereby the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished: But the heavens and the earth, which are now, by the same word are kept in store, reserved unto FIRE against THE DAY of judgment and perdition of ungodly men. But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, THAT ONE DAY IS WITH THE LORD AS A THOUSAND YEARS, AND A THOUSAND YEARS AS ONE DAY.
The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. But THE DAY OF THE LORD will come as a thief in the night; in the which the heavens shall pass away with a great noise, and the elements shall melt with fervent heat, the earth also and the works that are therein shall be burned up."
2 Peter 3:3-10
