Who is the lamb who knows the seasons
for planting and harvesting when the
shepherd has held back rain from soil?
Who is the lamb who knows the seasons for planting and harvesting when the shepherd has held back rain from soil?

This question posed many years ago in this place where people of the world gather has not been answered – until now. The words were there to be read for over seven years, and not one soul discovered what was readily available for discerning eyes – until now. Seekers of knowledge are inclined to focus their vision in places where others have visited previously rather than exploring unknown regions beyond the familiar – until now.

This is your time to open your mind. This is your time to consider what has never been considered by those who have not yet found these words. Will your discovery of Truth bring new understanding when decisions are made about peace or war? Will you use your intelligence to reconsider the past once the future has been revealed in greater detail?

How many renowned scholars have shared what they learned since ancient times about the One known as God? How many philosophers have invented words to describe a particular Superior Being in their hope to educate the feeble minded? While these new questions are like strong winds swirling within you, tugging upon old walls erected to protect yourself from outside forces, pulling back thin layers between darkness and Light, do you sense changes in how intellectual perceptions are formed? Have new thoughts entered your human consciousness, arousing a sense of curiosity about unknown things beyond common awareness?

People are the sheep who follow shepherds across deserts, over mountains and seas to distant places filled with sorrow or joy. Winding roads are found everywhere for lambs following leaders in all directions, moving step-by-step on their way to prosperity or poverty. Many can be seen moving from behind and more can be seen going forward by those caught in the middle on their way to uncertain destinations. Traditions based on habitual ways of thinking are dominating those who are too weak to change. Memories are flooding thoughts with historic successes and failures as contemporary souls seek to justify lifestyles based on materialism. "Where is the promise of those things which remain invisible and seem unable to offer help when needed," they scream in anguish at neighbors who love Jesus.

Every lamb in the flock has become nothing more than driftwood riding the unpredictable tide of a great ocean. Who should be blamed for their loss of power when evil shepherds lead to loss of freedom? Has rain not been sent to grow grass upon which they feed? Has Almighty God in His anger refused to bless those who have cursed Him?

Somewhere between night and day, between right and wrong, we see a few who refuse to respect incompetent shepherds any longer. Hopelessness has caused starving sheep to become stubborn and unwilling to march through barren fields dominated by death and destruction. They have seen green grass growing on the other side of thorny bushes where fat sheep follow
a good Shepherd who has sufficient power to provide good things.

On the dark side of the fence where drought has caused suffering, confusion has led to anger and complacency has led to hostility. Chaos is erupting without concern for legal judgments or survival of civilizations among those who believe themselves to be victims. On the sunny side of the fence where harmony prevails among those who survive in contentment, not one lamb is hungry or lost from the flock. All is well for those who follow the Lord.

When ravishing wolves come to attack their prey, which shepherd will stand strong to defend sheep who are too weak to fight their own battles? Will the fierce enemies of flesh be dissuaded or enticed by what they find in fields where both good and evil exist together? Will peace or war be declared when trouble erupts between those on the dark side and those on the sunny side? Does anyone really care if lambs know the seasons for planting and harvesting or which shepherd has held back rain from soil?
