Originally, the name was "Tennessee Elijah MESSAGE BOARD." It was then changed to "Saints & Sinners MESSAGE BOARD." Later, it was changed to "Angels & Snakes MESSAGE BOARD" until it was cancelled. The very first message I posted is below -- with other messages posted up to 1 JANUARY 2003. Although over 1200 messages had to be deleted due to deception, hate and vulgarity, censorship was not my first choice. Please understand that enemies of Elijah are doing everything possible on the Internet to discredit me -- by revising my messages and posting new messages in my name. Those who read my original messages, understanding the style and substance, should be able to distinguish the difference between "me" and "troublemakers" who imitate me for evil purposes inspired by their father from Hell. Author: E Date: 6/9/2002 8:55 am CST (1) As newly born babies, God has already programmed souls with the knowledge of Himself. What scientists know about genetics and DNA would not be possible without the "Spirit" Master Control within each of us. We come into this dimension of Life fully prepared with instinctive inclinations and innate abilities, designed to reach out to a Higher Power. (2) As we grow physically and mature mentally, we attempt to reconcile our inner awareness with stimuli coming from out of our environment. Souls are transformed by the Good Spirit and/or evil spirits (memories, thoughts, desires, ideas, etc.) as we selectively make choices during every day of our Life. (3) At some point in our struggle to understand ourselves, we contemplate many philosophies -- religious and otherwise. We begin to realize that we are constantly in conflict with the world around us. Desires of the flesh are never satisfied. Spiritual concepts are difficult to apply to daily Life. We may begin to feel weak, helpless, insignicant and unable to fully comprehend how we think, how our emotions affect us -- or why we do what we do. We become creatures of habit when either the flesh or the soul is in control -- for better or for worse. (4) Through information provided from random sources, we might attempt deductive reasoning? We might try to explain our circumstances through a form of common sense or logic? We might become frustrated and angry at ourselves or the world in general, because we're unable to rationalize our own existence? The thought of an unpredictable personal death, or what happens beyond that experience, causes us to think about the possibility of God. Others who rely only on physical senses or traditional intellectual arguments may decide that if we can't touch it, see it, hear it, feel it or smell it -- "it" can't be real. (5) What about the Bible? Were those words written by men with active imaginations or did God really inspire them? How did those "creative" writers manage to prophetically describe future events? Are we to interpret the Bible literally or symbolically? Did Jesus speak in parables? What about historic accounts of personal experiences having to do with those who choose to live as Christians? What about miraculous events that happened in the past and continue to happen in the present? What about the "Bible Code" book? What about the impact that Christianity has had on America -- and on most nations of the world? Is there power in good ideas? (6) IDEA: God is the Conceiver; Satan is the deceiver. (7) IDEA: God is the Creator; Satan is the imitator. (8) IDEA: God is Truth, Love and Beauty; Satan is not! (9) IDEA: Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life! (10) It takes "faith" to accept God -- and it takes faith to reject God! To close our minds to the Source of Life is foolish and self-destructive. Life is a learning experience that enables each one of us to comform ourselves to the image of the Father Creator. As for me, I have no fear of death of the flesh. I do not serve God only because I'm looking for a reward or need assurance that eternal Life is possible. I could be dead and gone, ashes to ashes, dust to dust, dead as a door nail without the promise of Heaven if that is God's will -- and I would still choose to identify myself with Jesus and with those who worship Him. He once said: "Those who seek to save their life shall lose it, and those who lose it for my sake shall save it." Life on Planet Earth would be worse than Hell if we didn't have knowledge of God and His wonderful Son -- Lord Jesus Christ to influence the way we live as Christians. There is no greater moral compass or higher lifestyle standard on this planet than what is provided by the Bible and the Holy Spirit. I believe I know what I know! The purpose of providing this site is to encourage civilized communication between people. Rather than continue with a "no censorship" policy, it will be necessary to delete messages which are offensive. (Please feel free to identify those you think should be deleted.) As new readers will see, we have one individual here who uses several names and gets some kind of perverted pleasure out of manifesting all of the characteristics usually associated with evil. "Your Worst Nightmare" and aliases has reached the limit of my patience -- and I will now leave her/him in God's hands.
