a desperate quest for self-determination, self-preservation, and self-exaltation. Political, religious, and economic institutions created by fools for the purpose of sustaining popular anti-God philosophies will ultimately end in disaster! AOL MESSAGE FROM E: USAMA; DEAD OR ALIVE? The media is on a relentless
quest to answer the question: "Where is Usama?" If he is alive, there’s not much to worry about anymore. On the other hand, if he’s dead -- we’ve got big trouble! A dead Usama means that the evil spirits in his soul, the spirits that made him “think” that way could have taken a quick flight into an unsuspecting soul in a distant place. This means that some man named Jack “Usama” -- maybe a Demoncrat from Georgia -- may start getting urges to do battle with Wall Street! This is not superstition; this is reality! And this means that a Suzy “Usama” -- who is a religious zealot in Kansas City, Missouri, may suddenly start sending poison cookies through the mail to Washington D.C.! Now do you understand how difficult it will be for the FBI or CIA to track down those “spirits” responsible for New York tragedies in the future? “Spirits” -- good or evil -- remain within the earthly sphere, going from one body to another body, manifesting themselves as “thoughts” in the “souls” of any human allowing them to enter. The “real war” is not fought in physical bodies, in muddy fields or mountainous places like Afghanistan -- but in the hearts and minds of people! A trigger is never pulled until a “mind” puts the finger into motion. The “spirits” in souls that make idiots steal, kill and destroy are the true enemy! Be on the alert! These evil spirits may decide to enter you -- if you are stupid enough to let it happen! Rebellious, sinful souls who are submissive to the influences that evil spirits bring to a mind need to be on the defensive!

AOL MESSAGE FROM E: My FORMULA FOR PEACE! Systems regulating the world’s economy have been corrupted by greed. Without sensible collaboration leading to corrective measures between the Federal Reserve, the American Congress and the International Monetary Fund participants, continuing turmoil within nations will lead to worldwide anarchy. We must balance resources, marketable goods and services in a fair and equitable way if we desire political stability and peace. Can anyone other than God accomplish these objectives?

AOL MESSAGE FROM E: DOES IGNORANCE AND INSANITY RULE? The biological health of the human species has deteriorated beyond the point where conventional restoration is feasible. Ancestral afflictions combined with inadequate nutrition and environmental impurities have caused genetic degeneration. Because of chemical imbalances due to abnormal gland secretions, internal functions regulating neurons have diminished cerebral interaction between body and soul. Antediluvian instincts, aberrant perceptions, deceptive information, erroneous evil ideas, a lack of noble motivations and lubricious thought patterns have resulted in making Planet Earth a place where ignorance and insanity rules!

AOL MESSAGE FROM E: CHILDREN ARE MY HEROES! Between birth and before reaching the age of 8, boys and girls of all nations should be honored for their superiority. Children possess an innate ability to see through facades created by adults. With an instinct for honesty, no matter which subject is being evaluated, children demonstrate exceptional insight -- and they usually suggest simple, yet wise, solutions for very complex problems. Therefore, I am now proposing seven themes that should be used and developed for media events: (1) Meaning of Life. (2) Significance of Family Relationships. (3) Why Getting a Good Education is Fun. (4) Interesting Ways to Achieve Happiness. (5) Suggestions for Taking Care of Our Planet. (6) Why Having Friends is Important. (7) Problems in Need of Solutions.

Commentaries by children over the media would dramatize human similarities rather than differences. We would see contrasting stereotypes dissipating while basic principles binding us together would be highlighted. During these communications, maybe adults in places of authority would be challenged when recognizing clever alternatives to conventional thinking. Personally, if Planet Earth was mine to do with as I pleased, I would trust children to make most of the rules. If program directors of radio or TV news want to experiment, why not ask a few ordinary children what they’d like to say to their peers in Israel, Iraq, Iran, North Korea or Afghanistan. Ask them if they have any advice for the Mayor, the Governor of their state or the President. Ask them if they believe in God -- and if they do, what do they suppose He would say about all the weird things people are doing? What does God think about morons who crash airplanes into buildings, people who are mean to neighbors, those who tell lies, have sex before getting married -- or treat cats and dogs better than unborn babies? Once we’ve heard their answers, maybe children will become your heroes, too! Can any person in their right mind not agree that we give excessive attention to demented adults?

AOL MESSAGE FROM E: LAUGHING YASSER DASSCHOLE! Ever since he coyly followed President Bush along the aisle during the State of the Union speech, trying to look cute for the cameras, laughing Yasser Dasschole has been busy signing autographs for tourists. His twinkling eyes and spontaneous grins have endeared him to everyone who is jealous of Bush. Recently, as though intoxicated by his own charm, Yasser Dasschole went on record to oppose helping the unemployed, oppose medical care for the elderly, oppose tax cuts or expanding the military budget needed to fight our war against terrorism. In defense of his lack of common sense when confronted by angry, patriotic citizens, Dasschole calmly denied any knowledge of E-mails being sent to a small South Dakota farm from Saddam Hussein, Usama bin Laden or Tom Arafat. “Demoncrats are not terrorists any more than Jews are Muslims,” Yasser Dasschole told visiting students from Japan, Italy, Mexico and Canada. “President Bush does not have a legitimate right to Gore’s White House. He is occupying the Office of the President illegally,” Dasschole explained. “As leader of the angry, persecuted people of America, it’s my solemn duty to sacrifice my Life, if need be,
in resistance to every Republican attempt to pass a so-called Stimulus package -- or any other so-called legislation.” When asked if he had any new, alleged information about Senator Jeffords and others of his ilk being opposed during future elections in order to give the Republicans a majority in the House and Senate, Yasser Dasschole laughed. He paused to comb his hair and wipe is shoes with a lace scarf. When asked if he had information about Chandra Levy’s dreadful disappearance, the WTC tragedy, John Walker’s betrayal of America, the Richard Pearl mystery, the source of an anthrax letter addressed to him, Gary Condit’s battle with the liberal media or Enron contributors who helped to finance his boring campaigns, Yasser Dasschole winked -- and then broke out in a big, really big grin, saying. “That’s politics! Don’t blame me,” he snickered. “Just to show you how smart I am, I know Americans with vital possessions who are vulnerable and could be easily bribed? What about politicians like me, military leaders, nuclear power plant operators, police or others who might accept money from illegal sources to create havoc with national political stability and circumvent Homeland Security? I’ll betcha President Bush is too trusting to believe it could happen! Republicans might be surprised to learn what traitors are willing to do for money -- or for the promise of power. This is all hypothetical, of course.” (This has been another brain-zapper from the flower artist in Tennessee.)

AOL MESSAGE FROM E: CONTEMPLATE! In our mind, we see that a drop of water
when compared to oceans is like the universe when compared to Heaven. We know from
our point of reference as humans that a great ship needs more than a drop of water to float -- and Heaven needs more than the universe to flow. In our mind, we see Heaven as being everywhere with no beginning and no ending. We know that the same physical existence to be found in a drop of water can be found in oceans -- and the same spiritual existence to be found in the universe can be found in Heaven. We know how precisely infinity dissects eternity, harmoniously intermingling with all things visible and invisible, immersing with and transcending out of the elements, flowing freely across the spectrum of time, space, energy and matter. If we truly see this in our mind, let us ponder the cause and the effect of these marvelous wonders. Let us conclude that we as civilized biological creatures, along with all other Life forms, are neither the beginning nor the ending of this magnificent order, but are only threads being woven into the fabric-like consciousness of a Higher Power. For the sake of establishing an identity within our communications which enables us to maintain links to this source, we will use the word “God.” As we continue to contemplate, instead of assuming that we are at the center of this God phenomenon, let’s see ourselves as mere drops of water in oceans. In the same way that oceans do not exist without drops of water, God does not exist without Heaven and the universe within. Therefore, as we flow around the perimeter of this never-ending circle, engaging ourselves within each cyclical pattern beyond our ability to perceive, we reciprocate with God forces nurturing our existence. Once we learn that we are only vessels and not the source, that we are only conduits of thought with no imagination or creativity, we can humbly begin the process of evaluating Life on Planet Earth from the complex perspective of a universal reality. Every thought, every word ever spoken and every deed ever performed is relevant! What seems like fantasy to us is substance beyond current understanding. Nothing should be regarded as being too big or too small
as we contemplate God. Patterns of “Life” resulting from “Divine Intelligence” have been historically manifested. As we proceed to prod, dissect, evaluate and cast discretionary convictions, remember, God is being revealed in many shapes and sizes, and is being defined in many languages. Personally, because of genetic attributes and Life experiences, I respect the universal “flow” of energy forces. I see myself as an eternal soul within a fleshly “Earth suit” as one among billions of humans linked to God. Our mutual history indicates beyond reasonable doubt that only one “entity” was born to personify God in flesh. I believe this “link” to the “High Power” is the one we know as “Jesus.” Together, in one form or another, we might have shared planets other than this planet, sifting through elements in pain or pleasure, learning to subdue matter as “spirits” penetrated emotions and reason. We are learning how to make choices based on intrinsic, chronic impulses which lead to either positive or negative experiences. What we all need to know in 2002, according to my “faith” link with God, is that as a species, we humans are on the verge of being birthed into a new Life. In the future, there will be a New Earth in a New Universe with the purity of Heaven blended therein. For those without understanding, compared to what is yet to come, we on Earth are base, praetorian, foolishly primitive and very ignorant. God has found a place in my heart where laughing at foolish fame and meager fortune is a daily routine; God laughs at ridiculous arrogance and extraneous knowledge; God laughs at those who mock what they can’t decipher and destroy what they cannot create. Like tiny drops of water makes oceans strong enough to carry ships, like molecules that expand and contract to disperse as mighty winds, the tepidity of fire will melt elements, restoring matter to Spirit, transforming death of flesh to eternal Life for those who choose to be One with Jesus in God. We are nearing the end of this defining purpose; we are nearing the beginning of eternal Truth, Love and Beauty! While there is still time, go to a quiet place and...CONTEMPLATE... these things I have told you!

AOL MESSAGE FROM E: Was it intrepid meandering that made them this way or has
the cult of self-esteem changed civility into what has become the hallmark of debased, degenerate, mindless ravings? Not aware of his task before the mission was set, the man known as Tennessee Elijah embarked on his journey through plebeian surroundings only to discover the lost vestiges of common sense had been hidden beneath egotism. "Where did they get their education?" he wondered as barking dogs tempered his words with languages of animals. Should we not be engaged in dialogue fitting the stature of inspired leaders instead of bickering like lowly infidels who speak without moral guidelines? Did this prophet encounter fools when he was calling out the name of inferior intellects during flights of fantasy through the halls of higher learning? No wonder Earth has finally succumbed to
terror when the fear of Truth makes educated fools tremble. None the less, if not for the continuing grace of God Almighty, compassionately postponing judgment until those who defile His authority have been alerted to their deeds, they would all be burning ashes heaped upon the remnants of dead souls. Sadly, time has diminished the homogeneity of moral courage -- and this planet has finally recognized why finality of purpose is a curtain falling over the face of humanity. Careless, inconsiderate, moronic and hopeless are those who mock the one who was sent to help this last generation, the one who is pleading, asking everyone to repent before time conquers what is left of rebellious hearts. "Life has become uncivilized in these places where iniquity is held in high esteem," Elijah said, explaining
that uncivilized tyrants rule the schools.

AOL MESSAGE FROM E: Somewhere within shiny boxes, anxious eyes were anticipating the ostentatious, moment of recognition, knowing a mysterious visitor was coming to quench obsessive thirst. It has been too hot for too long, these nocturnal inhabitants of a lost tribe cried as sweat was pouring off tired, dried and wrinkled skin in places with nothing but boredom -- instead of the alien entertainment they craved. "Give us fame and fortune," they begged as shadows danced through moaning hearts. "Give us melodrama and creature comforts; eternal pleasure instead of pain. We are worthy of exclusivity and star treatment," they proclaimed while perched high above poor throbbing multitudes who seemed to envy their extravagant lifestyles. Nothing had ever been done to suppress omnivorous urges -- even when they knew that their biological clock would stop ticking. They simply waited, searching in all directions, eagerly consuming beyond their limits, not wanting to believe what was transparently obvious to others. They simply waited until the end in their shiny boxes.

AOL MESSAGE FROM E: “EVANGELISM” is a word that people use to describe those persons who engage in ministries designed to reach the world for Christ. According to the dictionary, it means “spreading of Christianity, crusading zeal, great enthusiasm, fervor or zeal for a particular cause.” Evangelists usually provide various publications, use radio, television or the Internet to disseminate their messages when they can afford to do so. Those who do not have the funds required for extended works through the media will travel from place to place in cars, buses, trains and planes, speaking before groups of people in churches, auditoriums, tents, on the streets -- or in open fields as they attempt to persuade lost souls to repent of sins.

It is customary for most Christians in our time to regard “fame” or “fortune” as evidence that a particular “evangelist” is legitimate. If an evangelist is not popular
and does not receive financial contributions from the people, unfortunately, that particular “evangelist” is generally not regarded as being “anointed” or legitimate. This same type of value judgment, requiring conformity to contemporary religious tradition and meeting criteria for determining success or failure is equally applied to all those who come as teachers, apostles, prophets or evangelists. As we know, Jesus was not considered “legitimate”
by many who opposed His brand of Truth -- and had no desire for the riches of this world. In other words, would Jesus be accepted if He was ministering on Earth at this point in history? Would Jesus, using the name “Jack,” be considered a failure, because he might not have the same fame or resources as Pope John Paul II, Billy Graham or his son Franklin, Oral Roberts or his son Richard, Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson, Joyce Meyer, Paul or Jan Crouch, Benny Hinn or Jack Van Impe? What about Moses or John the Baptist? How would people treat the disciples of Christ if they were here -- and were trying to share their messages?

Maybe we should learn how to focus on the Book instead of the cover? Maybe we should learn how to focus on the Message instead of the messenger?

One tree standing on a hill surrounded by identical trees in the valley is not superior in the eyes of God; A person standing on a stage under the spotlight of world attention is not superior in the eyes of God. The only thing that sets one servant of the Lord apart from another servant of the Lord from the perspective of God is the quality of the Truth being revealed through words and actions.

The Holy Word of God is like a seed that must be planted within a soul if it is to grow.

It matters not whether the seed is carried to fertile soil by water, wind, birds or by the hands of farmers. When “Holy Seeds” come in the form of written or spoken “words,” those who profess to be Christians have the duty to share the "Seeds" without expecting to reap a harvest for selfish gain. As I, Tennessee Elijah, contemplate the future of my final mission, there is no desire for personal recognition, personal financial wealth or personal adoration from those who may choose to agree with messages I bring. Also, I have no immediate plans to accept invitations to public events where attention will be focused on my humanity rather than on my Spirituality. The “seeds” I hope to plant in souls will come fom God! The verbal symbolism of my mission has nothing to do with my race, color, creed, fame, personal history, physical characteristics, address, bank account, social status, educational achievement, nonconventional attire -- or sex appeal; It is not me, but the Spirit in me that matters!

My wife and I were just meditating on the Lord's meaning in Malachi 4:5 were the Lord say's 'Behold I will send you Elijah the prophet before the great and dreadful day of the Lord.'

Elijah, are you a repairer of the breach ? Does your light break forth like the morning?

Will you discuss the message the Lords reveals in Isaiah chapter 58. Is it a guideline? A way of life relevant to the time of Isaiah and our own? I need to be sure I understand how the Lord wants me to serve him. I know the Lord has placed this calling upon me to serve Him through this task. My wife and I will continue to meditate on his word and pray!

ISAIAH 58

Verse 1 -- “Cry aloud, spare not, lift up thy voice like a trumpet, and shew my people their transgression, and the house of Jacob their sins.”

E>Knowing that God is the same yesterday, today and forever, we can believe that His Holy Words have meaning for us in this day. It should be important for all who serve Jesus to suppress timidity, to confront those who rebel against the Laws of God in a respectful, calm and loving way -- and to identify the “sins” of those who descended from Abraham. Rejection of Christ is a sin!

Verse 2 -- “Yet they seek me daily, and delight to know my ways, as a nation that did righteousness, and forsook not the ordinance of their God: they ask of me the ordinances
of justice; they take delight in approaching to God.”

E>Having the desire and the manner of a seeker of Truth is good -- yet to become argumentative over doctrinal differences does nothing to enhance our joy as servants of
the Master. We must learn to let God be God.

Verse 3 -- “Wherefore have we fasted, say they, and thou seest not? wherefore have we afflicted our soul, and thou takest no knowledge? Behold, in the day of your fast ye find pleasure, and exact all your labours.”

E>To withhold nourishment from our body for the sake of attaining purity in the solitude of our communion with the Father does more for a soul than for our esteem among those who are unaware of our sacrifice. During this time of “fleshly crucifixion,” the Holy Spirit is given freedom to rule our thoughts and activities.

Verse 4 -- “Behold, ye fast for strife and debate, and to smite with the fist of wickedness:
ye shall not fast as ye do this day, to make your voice to be heard on high.”

E>The choice to fast must be motivated for reasons that are holy and worthy of honor -- and not for reasons of gaining advantage for the sake of appearing pious or privileged as
we attempt to influence antagonists. God will not reward us if we reach out to Him with
false, pretentious requests.

Verse 5 -- “Is it such a fast that I have chosen? a day for a man to afflict his soul? is it to bow down his head as a bulrush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him? wilt thou call this a fast, and an acceptable day to the LORD?”

E>Each of us should question the deepest intent of our heart as we consider whether or not our “fast” is acceptable to the Lord. This is more than a “ritual” or a "tradition” that we follow -- and it is not a method we engage during attempts to lose weight or appear humble.

Verse 6 -- “Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?”

E>We can appeal to God for various reasons as we “fast” during secret communion. It is like a special prayer that emphasizes needs or desires -- as well as being a form of worship.

Verse 7 -- “Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house? when thou seest the naked, that thou cover him; and that thou hide not thyself from thine own flesh?”

E>Thinking in both personal and international terms, should we not care about those who are in poverty, those who may need shelter, food or clothing? And should we not be willing
to interact with our “children” and neighbors if they so desire?

Verse 8 -- “Then shall thy light break forth as the morning, and thine health shall spring forth speedily: and thy righteousness shall go before thee; the glory of the LORD shall
be thy reward.”

E>Light can shine even when those who hide in darkness fail to see -- and who often resist opening their eyes to what is before them. Health of a soul has ramifications for the flesh -- yet it is the “power” we gain to do battle with evil that is more useful. And as the Holy Spirit emanates into the environment of those who have been glorified by the Lord, the “reward” will come as we witness transformations of those we encounter.

Verse 9 -- “Then shalt thou call, and the LORD shall answer; thou shalt cry, and he shall say, Here I am. If thou take away from the midst of thee the yoke, the putting forth of the finger, and speaking vanity;...”

E>It is a humbling experience to know that God will respond to us personally if we avoid the temptation of taking credit for what He does in our Life.

Verse 10 -- “And if thou draw out thy soul to the hungry, and satisfy the afflicted soul; then shall thy light rise in obscurity, and thy darkness be as the noonday:...”

E>God is not attempting to appeal to our weakness by suggesting that we will become the “center of attention” if we abide by His rules of conduct. It is the Light within and without that will be the focus for those who need deliverance.

Verse 11 -- “And the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.”

E>A “soul in drought” is a soul without a “link” to the Mind of God. We must remain subservient and loyal if we are to be “like a spring of water” which is capable of bringing spiritual nourishment to those who thirst.

Verse 12 -- “And they that shall be of thee shall build the old waste places: thou shalt raise up the foundations of many generations; and thou shalt be called, The repairer of the breach, The restorer of paths to dwell in.”

E>In this present world, we are muddled down in a maze of confusion. The “bind that ties” the children of God together has been severed by the Evil One. Doctrinal differences will continue unless Truth is restored to those who have broken vessels. Water does not flow freely through plugged pipes!

Verse 13 -- “If thou turn away thy foot from the sabbath, from doing thy pleasure on my holy day; and call the sabbath a delight, the holy of the LORD, honourable; and shalt honour him, not doing thine own ways, nor finding thine own pleasure, nor speaking thine own words:...”

E>Every day is the sabbath for those who worship the goodness of the Lord. We show respect and honor when we place our thoughts and activities on His altar. We are not above Him -- and our “Life” should be His Life. Even though some are living as though there is no tomorrow, tomorrow is coming, and we must be ready. Today is the Day of the Lord --
and He shall rule in it forever!

Verse 14 -- “Then shalt thou delight thyself in the LORD; and I will cause thee to ride upon the high places of the earth, and feed thee with the heritage of Jacob thy father: for the mouth of the LORD hath spoken it.”

E>The Kingdom of God with the New Jerusalem will be revealed during this final generation just as the prophets promised. Meanwhile, there is much to be done! May we all do our duty as God desires. His ways are not our ways -- just as my ways are not your ways.

In our differences, we nourish each other!

AOL MESSAGE FROM E: AOL TERRORISM! The communication crisis on the Internet is a tragedy of immense proportions. Link-after-link-after-link is saturated with heathenistic mutterings, disproportionate emphasis regarding current events and rambling points-of-view that are nothing less than idiotic verbal homicide. These murderous acts of terrorism against reality and common decency result in the suffocation of free spirits, the eradication of free thought and the extermination of righteous souls. Words are used like bullets, shattering the tranquillity of rational perspectives, mortally wounding the very substance of common sense and intelligent reasoning. As I lay bleeding on this spiritual battlefield where enemies confront each other with words pouring out of mean brains, if I am to die before the end of this war, please record this holy acronym for posterity: JIGROP!

In as much as we, Tennessee Elijah and all peace-loving occupants of Planet Earth, have recognized the potential for war between Madman Dictator Saddam Hussein and the Divided United States of America, represented by democratically elected President George W. Bush -- who functions under mediocre opposition from liberal DemoncRATS inspired by Senator’s Dasschole and Gepfhart since “9/11,” we believe it is imperative that our humble voices be heard before the great and noble American Congress -- and/or the European Union/United Nations -- proceed to frame separate, conflicting, legally confusing and probably ineffective resolutions under perverse international guidelines provided by enemies of sanity.

Since we honestly believe that all “weapons of mass destruction” -- such as ignorant behavior having to do with excessive use of perverted sex, excessive tobacco, excessive alcohol, excessive legal -- and/or illegal drugs, random disbursement of chemical and biological agents which have lethal potential for humankind, boring television programs, hand guns, dynamite, missiles, faulty SUV tires, pipe bombs, truck bombs, train bombs, airplane bombs and nuclear bombs -- not to mention excessive OPEC crude oil prices which could destroy the world economy. We must make haste! Time's running out for civilized Life!

     STEP (1): Send Pope John Paul II to convince Saddam and his close advisors to move to the Vatican where they can be convinced to become priests. U.N. inspectors and the media can then move unfettered throughout the highways, byways, waterways, tunnels, palaces, hospitals, schools, farms, cemeteries -- and innocent-looking factories in search of “weapons of mass destruction.”

     STEP (2): Once Iraq has been searched and cleansed of all “weapons and materials” posing a threat to civilizations, the U.N. Inspectors -- along with the liberal media -- can be sent to perform their duties in Iran, Syria, Jordan, Libya, Africa, Germany, France, Spain, Canada -- and within the continental Divided United States of America.

     STEP(3) Finally, providing there are no further acts of terrorism and a nuclear war has not hindered the inspection efforts, remaining nations -- such as Russia, China, North Korea, etc. -- will voluntarily destroy all of their “weapons of mass destruction.” Once this has been done, purely as a safety measure, we will allow only one nuclear missile to remain poised and ready for launch in the event that America is attacked by “unknown, hostile forces” from outer or inner space -- or from nations who masquerade as friends while scheming to destroy humanitarian visionaries, Christian missionaries -- and who attempt to corrupt morality while seeking to diminish our military. Some of our enemies compete within the free-enterprise system in the hope they can destroy the legitimacy of our American way of Life.

Thus, taking all things into consideration, for all intents and purposes, we hearby render this official document to be a useful communiqué, legally binding, signed, sealed and delivered to the appropriate parties. This war between Good and Evil must be fought!

AOL MESSAGE FROM E: The “good ole D.U.S. of A.” celebrates “Columbus Day.” Our magnificent country can now be described as the DIVIDED UNITED STATES of AMERICA for reasons our founding fathers could not have anticipated. As we celebrate “Columbus Day” on October 14, 2002, most of us understand that with “tolerance” and “diversity” comes division among all who inhabit this great nation. In the exercise of
personal freedom, dissension is now commonplace.

The mindset of every American citizen must be changed to accommodate the new realities of our economic and political environment. We cannot afford to easily dismiss those who speak and work against the security of our nation. Our many enemies come from outside of our borders -- and even more enemies can be found within our own borders. Regardless of individual motivations or opinions, we must -- collectively as God-fearing citizens -- show respect for law, respect for chosen leaders, and respect for each other. Those who fail to do so should be identified, isolated and ostracized. Our very survival and existence as a nation depends upon our resolve in matters set before us.

Our biggest problems at this point in history are: (1) A lack of public confidence in government. (2) Fear of those who terrorize. (3) Instability within systems maintaining the economy. (4) Inadequate health care. (5) Inferior educational programs. (6) The decaying infrastructure in most communities. And, before any of these problems can be seriously considered, something has to be done soon about... (7) Daily dissemination of misinformation leading to mass confusion, perverse philosophical values leading to immorality, spiritual degeneration and the systematic attacks against nobility of Holy lifestyles by those sinners who control and profit from communication institutions. In the name of “news/entertainment,” this planet has become a heck of a place to live. WORDS we are using define the nature of our souls -- and WORDS are more powerful than idiots understand. We can either preserve America or we can destroy it by the way we think, speak and behave!

AOL MESSAGE FROM E: Could THE LAST DAY come in October of 2002, March of 2003, June of 2004, August of 2005, October of 2006 -- or December of 2007? Check your calendars and see if anything significant is happening on those dates! Today could be THE LAST DAY for you, me or someone else. Life on Planet Earth is very fragile for each one of us who awake each morning, not knowing how much longer we will survive. If we knew for certain that today was to be THE LAST DAY of our Life, the last time that we'd be able to open our eyes, hear sounds about us, touch those we encounter with tenderness, experience thoughts, personal conversations, enjoy our activities -- or merely rest silently within our own private space, what choices would we make?

As for me, THE LAST DAY would not be a day for remembering troubles from the past. I would not want to waste my remaining time and energy thinking or talking about enemies. I wouldn't want to be feeling sorry for myself, speaking words that condemn and hurt others or be doing anything to ruin the final moments of my remaining hours. I would want to leave this world in a peaceful state of mind.

This date -- 10-22-02 -- is my wedding anniversary. I enjoy marriage and the wonderful pleasures procreation makes possible. I Love my wife, my children and every person on this planet. I appreciate the marvelous, miraculous, extremely complex, mystical, beautiful and unpredictable human creatures that make Life meaningful. If this was to be THE LAST DAY for me, I would want to be with people.

Those of us who read the Bible, know about THE LAST DAY for Jesus. On the third day after His death on the cross, He was alive again. Where will we be three days from now if today is our time to die?

Elijah is here to say, set your house in order by setting realistic priorities. Repent of your mistakes, accept Jesus into your heart, forgive your enemies, set the captives free, cancel the debts of your debtors, share your abundant resources with those who are poor, speak words of Love to those around you -- and be watching and waiting for the coming of the One who will make all things perfect.

Life as we know it on Planet Earth is going through a transition. We are now fighting the last war between Good and Evil. Armageddon will happen even though skeptics ridicule the idea! The Kingdom of God will be a reality before the end of this generation for those who have faith to believe that Jesus is the Prince of Peace who is coming soon to occupy
His Throne in Jerusalem. Where will you be on that LAST DAY?

CONSERVATIVES & LIBERALS?

A person using the name "JSojourner" posted a message about many things -- including Ann Coulter's book titled "Treason." I read it and then interjected my "E" thoughts in regard to the subject:

The parallels to 1920's and 1930's Germany are there. (E>No! You are wrong! This is a good example of propaganda referenced above) Because our democracy is strong at its very core, (E>because of conservatives) we are not yet to the point of pogroms and official persecution of minorities. (E>Are you one of the "minorities" with a persecution complex?) But if the right continues to equate dissent with treason, such things may not be as far off as we suppose. (E>False assumptions are not common among the true right. "Dissent" against common sense, against American traditions, against family, God and nation is treason!) What do we have in common with the dying Weimar Republic? (E>Who really cares?) 1. The majority (non-liberals) (E>People who believe in God and in American valuse) passionately insists and teaches that it is controlled by and under the thumb of the minority (liberals). (E>Not true. We simply believe that liberals are a corrupting influence) Substitute "good Germans" for non-liberals and "Jews and leftists" for liberals and you have the makings of 1930 all over again. (E>or -- subsitute "good Germans" for "evil liberals" and we have the makings for another Sodom and Gomorrah) Richard Cohen paints the picture with frightening accuracy. "In some ways, the nutso American brand of archconservatism mirrors traditional anti-Semitism. Jew-haters proclaim that Jews control the media, international finance and almost everything else of importance -- (E>equating conservatism to anti-Semitism is nothing but evidence of slanderous idiocy) but, somehow, Jews have accumulated a 2,000-year history of expulsions, pogroms and, finally, the mass murder of the Holocaust. In modern America, it is very much in vogue to criticize and protest anything done by or connected to government. (E>Freedom of speech gives idiots an opportunity to oppose intelligence -- and smart folks get to oppose ignorance. We seem to have both camps in DC) Such was also the case as the Weimar Republic gasped for life.
The goal of the anti-government movement is not truly LESS government. (E>MORE government has a way of taking away freedom from the people!) It is THEIR goverment. Ironically, criticism of THEIR government, we are supposed to believe, is at best unpatriotic and at worst, treasonous. (E>Making generalizations is not wise. The Divided United States of America will remain so, because "words" are used like weapons to destroy unity!) 3. Dissent, disagreement, opposition are now labelled "treason". (E>Not true! It is your "dissent" against America ideals, and "disagreement" with morality that is considered treasonous to Christians who oppose evil in any form) Labor Unions are derided as un-American institutions opposed to the American work ethic. (E>Not unless they attempt to interfer with commerce during times of national economic crisis) People who ask questions about poverty or the rights of minorities are labelled "unpatriotic" or "socialist". To challenge the foreign policy of the current administration is dismissed as so much "hate America" rhetoric. (E>Do you read the local newspaper?
Do you watch news on TV? Give me a break. Liberals are trying to push their inferior agenda by spreading hate against President Bush. Where are the "positive" political issues being raised by Demoncrats in this current election cycle? On the Internet?) 4. Excuses are made for errors, moral failings or even crimes committed by conservatives. The same crimes, mistakes and moral lapses by progressives are judged in the media by
a much different, much harsher standard. (E>This is not true. So-called crimes by so-called conservatives are just as harmful to society as anything liberals have ever done. Are you trying to find scapegoats for your frustrations?) A Democratic President loses money in a highly questionable land deal, and there are two federal investigations. The second investigation comes when the first finds nothing illegal took place. It continues until there is impeachment. A Republican President refuses to permit a bidding process for public works projects in a country we just conquered. Instead, the projects are awarded exclusively to companies that donate heavily to his campaign(s) and to conservative causes. (E>All of the above is only conjecture based on a lack of verifiable facts.) Hindsight permits us a view of the same double standard in Germany. The failings, crimes and mistakes of the Weimar government were trumpeted at every turn in the mainstream German press...to say nothing of the Nazi party's own publications. (E>Comparing the Bush administration through this perverted analogy of yours to the "Weimar government" could very easily be labeled "treason" in a court of law. You are using "words" to destroy the credibility of our American government! Words used to foster deceptions are more destructive to societies than bombs) Meanwhile, the few attempts to expose the addictions, violent tendancies and questionable activities of the brownshirts were either dismissed as treason or dealt with by means of violent retribution. (E>What does that have to do with our world in this century?) 5. Moderates are an endangered species. You can count on one hand the number of Republican senators who can honestly be classified as moderates or dissenting voices within the party. Maybe it would take two hands to count moderate members of the house. At one time, the Eisenhower wing of the Republican party was the majority. But today, moderate Republican voices are drowned out by the drone of rightist lawmakers and media voices crying, "Treason". Moderates are increasingly afraid
to dissent. Some Republicans like Bob Barr of Georgia have gone so far as to suggest Theodore Roosevelt's domestic policies were too liberal and, therefore, a black mark on
the party. Hitler and Goebbels quickly disposed of their less zealous brethren as well.

Those Germans who might have agreed with some of Hitler's anti-Weimar positions were quickly silenced upon voicing worry over his more extreme positions. A modern example? When Gerald Ford scolds his party for its drift to
the extreme right, he is dismissed as a gentle, but irrelevant old dinosaur. We went over that bridge some time ago. Today, the neo-conservative movement firmly controls Congress, the White House, many statehouses and much of the media. (E>Thanks be to God for this dramatic, cleansing of our government from those who lost the way in the 60's through the 90's) (The liberal media myth is one of the most repeated lies being lapped
up by an unthinking public. They believe so deeply and so decidedly in the strength of our constitution and democracy...and in the wisdom of our founding fathers...that they remain steadfastly convinced that the time will come, and soon, for the pendulum to swing back. (E>It will swing back to your side when the last world dictator seizes power. A few of us conservatives are expecting the AntiChrist any day now. I am sure that he will be regarded by liberals as their hero and saviour) I wish I could be so certain. Indeed, I think the pendulum -- if there is one at all -- will move farther and farther to the right. The public likes ultra conservatism. (E>You are wrong. The "public" is generally moderate -- and generally liberal with a conservative slant on morality) The far right's analysis of our national problems are simplistic and easy to grasp. to me in this writing that you have no clue about what conservatives think or feel
in regard to issues) The extreme right's solutions to our problems require no sacrifice on the part of the majority. It's a feelgood, me-mine-and-ours-first movement that entitles its adherent to place blame on "those people". (E>See? You are wrong) More, it is dismissive of more complex and sacrificial proposals put forth by the left, the moderates and even mainstream conservatives. (E>Your concept of "complex" is my concept of "deception." Let me quote myself: "God made a perfect world, and then some
fool tried to improve it." This is what liberalism is all about) While I have less hope
than most of my liberal friends, I still have some. (E>Just be yourself until you wise up) And you might be surprised by this. But I think maybe -- just maybe -- if the neo-cons are to be stopped (and for the sake of democracy, they must be), (E>Bad assumption) it might wind up being mainstream conservatives who put an end to their nonsense. I think few liberals would deny conservatives a place at the table. (E>You've got to be kidding! Liberals would not only deny conservatives a place at the table, but would run them out of town if they could) Indeed, mainstream conservatives play a vital role in checking the excesses and folly of liberalism. (E>Finally, you said something right) Our movement is no more pure of heart than that of our good opponents. We have traditionally coexisted in an atmosphere of high tension and vigorous, but usually well-intentioned debate. We work furiously to show our conservative colleagues the human face of need. And they have toiled consistently and with honor to remind us that there are limits to what government can and should do. It is good that the tension exists. And one movement,

There are right ways to do things -- and wrong ways) It is precisely that idea that worries me about neo-cons like Ann Coulter. They envision an America rid of liberals. at your table? She might be inclined to disapprove of your distortion of her views on the issues?) One religious leader with strong neo-con connections calls liberals "termites" and insists that America must be "fumigated". (E>I have used the word "termites" for many years to describe people who work themselves into the fabric of our many institutions for the purpose of destroying the foundation of our society. I'm glad the term is finally catching on) Coulter, Tom DeLay, Trent Lott, Rupert Murdoch, Karl Rove and their cadre of "patriotism inspectors" are more dangerous to us than any Iraqi weapon
of mass destruction. (E>Your previous comment is more dangerous than even you apparently realize) And the American people aren't listening to liberals any more. (E>For good reason! Look over this diatribe that you have just shared with us) Our warnings are poo-poo'ed and passed off as "just more anti-American mumbo jumbo." It may be time for liberals to seek the help of those few mainstream conservatives who have not been swept up in the neo-con movement. I can't name very many but Bob Novak comes to mind. (E>Bob
