Prophetic News
    By Tennessee Elijah

On the
Easy E-Links page of this web site, I often click the "Prophecy Central" link to scan over information provided. It starts with "Welcome To Prophecy Central -- A World Of Information About Biblical Prophecy."

Today,
April 10, 2004, a few headlines caught my attention and I began
to wonder why these Christian brothers and sisters of mine are spending so much time rehashing the trash we get from the international media. Don't they know that the
spirit of Satan is the master behind bad news? Don't
they know that Jesus wants us to be sharing
good news with hopeless
people who need compassion?

Regardless of the current trend, emphasizing tragic events related to what
is perceived to have a "prophetic" connection, there are many interesting interpretations on many interesting subjects found at Prophecy Central that can expand our understanding of how other people think. There are a variety of views given on abortion, America's heritage, apostasy, armageddon, Babylon, China, Church and State issues, cloning, creationism, the cyberwar, earthquakes, the European Union, evil empires, false Christs, fearful events, feasts of Israel, famines, highlighting prophecy that has already been fulfilled, genetics, homosexuality, the image and mark of the Beast, Iraq, Islam, millennial reign of Christ, New World Order, one-world religion, peace, persecution, plagues, the rapture, revived Roman Empire, Russia, World War III, terrorism -- and much more which even includes ideas on why the weather is significant.

Obviously, we are bogged down under all of the increased knowledge available to anyone who has time to listen or read during this final generation. Unfortunately for those of us who are caught in the middle of public discourse, we become aware of too many "Christian" people trying to do business on Satan's side of the dividing line -- and too many "evil" people trying to do business on God's side of the dividing line. No wonder it's so easy for confusion to discourage those who debate politics or religion!

Personally, as just one man with my own opinions about things, when I clicked the
Prophecy Central link this morning, I wish I could have read about the man in Moscow who convinced his family to repent of sin, the child in China who was healed because of  prayers by missionaries-- or the woman who left a box of groceries on the steps of poor neighbors instead of about how "kidnappings spread across Iraq" or how the "U.S. offers bilateral ceasefire to Fallujah fighters." I realize that sensationalism inherent within "bad news" is enticing to people who are craving excitement in their boring lives, but I had already heard it all on Fox News -- several times! Why would I want a preacher, priest or rabbi -- or one of their helpers -- to repeat everything again on Christian web sites?

What does the war in Iraq have to do with peace?

Please allow a little psychological experiment for the purpose of challenging my friends. Instead of using the written words
"house" and "city" that are found in the following scripture, let's substitute the words "web site:"

"And when ye come into a
web site, salute it. And if the web site be worthy, let your peace come upon it: but if it be not worthy, let your peace return to you. And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear your words, when ye depart out of that web site, shake off the dust of your feet. Verily
I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for the land of Sodom and Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that
web site."
Matthew 10:12-15

When I use the words
"web site" in context with scripture, we can see more clearly why the idea of promulgating events filled with fear, anger, strife and bloodshed, which diminishes "peace," is not something we Christians should be doing. Famous evangelists, and all major ministries, should be dedicated to restoring hope, peace, love and family unity!

Focusing on turmoil instead of
tranquility is not what Jesus would
be doing if He had a web site!

Of course, as the world is aware, everyone has an opinon on Mel Gibson's
"The Passion of the Christ" as these words are being written. During Easter celebrations, the debate between Jews and Christians symbolized everything that's wrong between people who serve the same God. While
a acting false Christ was faking his own crucifixion for movie audiences, telling the story better than had ever been done before, Jack Van Impe was sharing information about Japan and South Korea's "vow" to keep their troops in Iraq. Weekend News was telling us about those who have been suffering "drought" conditions in the southeastern United States. HARPAZO was focusing upon Iraq's "hostage" drama, Hal Lindsey was telling us that "gunmen" were rampaging in Baghdad and Fallujah -- while Democrat John Kerry was blaming President Bush for everything that's wrong in the world. Strange as it might seem to liberals, agnostics or atheists, politicians and religious leaders who profess to be Christians -- Baptists, Methodists, Catholics, Pentecostals, Mormons, etc. -- are good and evil. Some of them exemplify
Truth while others portray deception; some are wise while others are foolish; some are drawn to peace while others enjoy the challenge of confrontation and conflict.

As a person who desires the best for everyone in all nations, I believe that our purpose as "Christians" can best be demonstrated by injecting "honest questions" in regard to events which affect our lifestyles. Instead of "political correctness," "tolerance" or unrealistic respect for "diversity," it is better to use
God-given Holy Spirit intelligence in ways that can counteract what enemies of peace are doing.

One example of how we can work to focus attention on problems might be to voice concerns about the availability of commodities. In the coming weeks and months, will the price of food increase proportionately with the price of gasoline?

Today, gas sells for 31.5 cents per gallon more than last December. The national average at this time is about $1.82 for all grades with prices breaking records every week. In San Diego, California, self-serve regular
is selling for $2.22 per gallon. With crude oil prices at $37 per barrel, we should be asking why Democrats oppose the energy polices of President Bush, and ask them to explain why OPEC is cutting back on production.
Are Arabs using "oil" as a weapon against the American economy?
Do some Arab Muslims hate Jews and Christians so much that they would intentionally make decisions which they hope would lead to our demise?

As I write these words in April, what do politicians and religious leaders think the headlines will be in August of 2004? Will I be clicking the Prophecy link to read about gasoline selling for $2.57 per gallon," or about the "Euro reducing the value of the dollar in international markets?" Maybe Californians will be trying to clean up after a huge earthquake? Maybe terrorists will strike a New York subway system? Maybe a plot to harm the president will lead to Muslim Democrats in Michigan? Maybe controversy over John Kerry's alleged involvement with homosexuals will enable supporters of Senator Hillary Clinton to make her a presidential candidate? Maybe the forthcoming re-election of George Bush will be assured when scandalous negotiations between Congressional members and European Union leaders are publicized? Maybe natural disasters resulting from water, wind and fire in South America will necessitate military intervention to
keep millions of refugees from illegally crossing American borders?
Maybe speculation about the future is a waste of time for people who fail
to understand the significance of past events? What good does "prophecy" do unless we can be convinced to put our trust in God? What good does being a Christian do for anyone unless we can overcome bad news with good news. Lost souls need hope and charity -- not scorn or condemnation!

"Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have
not
charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal. And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing." 1 Corinthians 13:1&2

In other words, the "gift of prophecy" is a good thing for Christians who use it as God intends, and having "faith" to overcome serious problems -- like "mountain moving" is also very helpful as we struggle to make this a better world in which to live. At the same time, we can see why "charity" being shown by many Anonymous Volunteers -- and even by our man in the White House through his "faith-based initiatives" is something that should dominate all of our endeavors!

Helping our neighbors is good!
Helping our neighbors in Israel is good!
Helping our neighbors in Mexico and Iraq is good!
Helping neighbors in every nation is good!

President Bush is a man who believes in charity!
President Bush believes in helping neighbors! Christians should support
Bush for President
and vote smart, because George is good!
When will weapons of mass destruction be used?
When will war break out in Lebanon, Syria or Iran?
When will Saddam reveal his money secrets?

How many people will go to Mel Gibson's next movie?
How many Hollywood movie stars will go bankrupt?
How many Americans will get jobs before November?
Did Pope John Paul II, Billy Graham, Pat Robertson, Jerry Falwell, Jack Van Impe, Oral Roberts, Paul Crouch, Benny Hinn or Hal Lindsey answer these questions between April and August of 2004?
Prophetic Questions?
Where are the Bush-haters hiding?
Where are the Christian soldiers hiding?
Where are the extremist Muslim terrorists hiding?
Christians are uniting worldwide to advertise this JIGROP message!

Dear Tennessee,

The member ID tennesseeelijah@msn.com, which is associated to your MSN account, has been reported in connection with the transmission of unsolicited email via The Microsoft Network. The transmission of unsolicited email is prohibited and is in violation of the MSN Subscription Agreement. We ask your cooperation in reviewing the "MSN Subscription Agreement," which is available online at http://support.msn.com/solutionarticle.aspx?cp=true&pk=msncom&pp=both\msncom&aid=4780

Please ensure this activity does not reoccur from your MSN account. Any future violations of these documents may result in the termination of your MSN subscriber account, and any “Associated Accounts”, without notice.

Your help in making The Microsoft Network an enjoyable place for all members is greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Edilisa
MSN Policy Enforcement

My explanation: The communication systems, the Internet rules, and the "freedom of speech" laws are all being used, and misused, by rebellious souls for reasons that are making personal witnessing by Christians very difficult! Question: What are the proper procedures for obtaining "permission" to send someone an email to avoid the transmission of unsolicited email? I have been sending spiritual messages to email addresses of media and religious organizations that were found on web sites.
I have a 650 address limit on my "Group Contacts" list -- and have been abiding by the Microsoft Agreement to the best of my knowledge. If Microsoft could be more specific concerning the nature of the complaint(s), I would be able to correct the problem -- if it is more than just the result of a troublemaker(s) who hates anything that might be regarded as "Truth!" Otherwise, I will continue to send emails -- just
as I might be inclined to send letters through the Post Office. Uncle Sam does not prohibit the sending of unsolicited mail -- (advertising, etc) -- so why is it possible
for a corporation such as Microsoft to dictate my communication practices? Rather than submit to this kind of unfair intimidation, I would rather not continue with the services that I've paid up-to-date to enjoy. If anyone reading this is experiencing similar harassment, please let the FCC authorities know. Until this current obstacle to my mission is resolved, I have no alternative other than to express myself in other ways if it becomes necessary. Is the sending of unsolicited water, unsolicited wind, and unsolicited fire in the form of a curse from God permitted -- or do I need
to ask Microsoft for permission? This is a copy of my last email unless the threat to terminate my account is postponed -- or not performed as threatened.

Please stop sending me this stuff.  You don’t know who you are offending by sending partisan information to.  I see you’ve been sucked into the abyss of lies like most people of your kind.
Rebellious souls who choose to mock God, Lord Jesus Christ, the Holy Spirit, and prophets sent to speak the Word of God -- are all treading on very dangerous ground! The same kind of people who spit in the face of Jesus, and cheered when He was crucified are the same kind of people who work against those who come in Truth during this final generation. Do we place too much confidence in the purveyors of information via the media? This verse from the scriptures should be a warning: "Verily I say unto you, All sins shall be forgiven unto the sons of men, and blasphemies wherewith soever they shall blaspheme: But he that shall  blaspheme against the Holy Ghost hath never forgiveness, but is in danger of
eternal damnation: Because they said, He hath an unclean spirit."

Christian views are accepted since I am one. Party affiliation has nothing to do with your
relationship with Christ.  Before you say “Satan’s followers” are trying to stop you, you really
should ask the Holy Spirit to lead you in your endeavors.  If you do that, you won’t offend
because the Spirit does not condemn.
