The EJC Witnessing Formula |
Let's think about you as a member of the ElijahJesusClub for a few minutes. Like all members, you sent a can of soup to Music City Revival
and then volunteered to share Tennessee Elijah messages with seven souls among
family members, friends and neighbors. Maybe you have already explored the Elijah website, and have enjoyed reading messages inspired by God. Maybe you wonder about some of the information you found, and decided to talk about it with your friends on Internet message boards or at your place of worship. Like other EJC members, you decided to share E-messages with at least seven people -- either personally or by email. If you speak a language other than English, and can translate before passing information along to others, you will be doing something good for the Kingdom of God. As we know, this planet has many nations! If members of EJC are going to reach everyone, we would need to try something very unique. This EJC Witnessing Formula may just be one of the best ways to reach lost souls, internationally, before the return of Lord Jesus Christ! Let's consider this hypothetical scenario: Tennessee Elijah posted a message with the word “JIGROP” on his website on January 1, 2003 -- and it was read by 7 Christians before the end
of the day. On that first day, when talking to 7 friends, each of the 7 friends
asked, "Do you know what 'JIGROP' means?" On January 2, each of those 49 people asked 7 others, "Do you know what 'JIGROP' means?" Going person-to-person, this witnessing routine continued for 11 days in many places
until everyone who heard the question was voluntarily asking 7 other people
the same question in all languages and dialects. If we used a calculator, we
would learn that it's possible to reach every person in every nation! "Do you know what 'JIGROP' means?" (Day 1) 7x7=49...people (Day 2) 49x7=343...people (Day 3) 343x7=2401...people (Day 4) 2401x7=16,807...people (Day 5) 16,807x7=117,649...people (Day 6) 117,649x7=823,543...people (Day 7) 823,543x7=5,764,801...people (Day 8) 5,764,801x7=40,353,607...people (Day 9) 40,453,607x7=282,475,249...people (Day 10) 282,475,249x7=1,977,326,743...people (Day 11) 1,977,326,743x7=13,841,287,201...people At this rate in our hypothetical scenario, if all people were honestly doing their share, we would reach everyone in every nation in 11 days! Many people would hear the word “JIGROP” again and again, more than two or three times, and the news media would probably think the meaning of the word would be worth sharing. Christian leaders accepted as credible may try to decipher the meaning. Political leaders might come up with a version of the word that would generate popularity within their personal realm of influence. Scholars might be intrigued by the word "JIGROP" -- and then try to define it by considering theories based on language origins, historic events -- or folklore coming out of various cultures. Within weeks, after hundreds of newspaper and magazine articles, and after dozens of radio and television network features, people everywhere might become obsessed with the word. What does “JIGROP” mean -- everyone might be wondering? Does anyone know? Who spoke this unusual word first? Is it a code with some kind of hidden meaning? Does anyone know the nation where the word was first spoken or written? Can anyone explain what “JIGROP” means? Millions of people might become curious enough to search the web for more information if EJC Anonymous Volunteers get the word out with a sense of urgency. Millions of people might decide to read the messages found on Christian web sites -- and might start taking prophetic ideas about Jesus coming soon more seriously. Do Jesus people care about lost souls? How many lost souls need to repent of sin? Do Christians understand that these are the last days to explain to lost souls that Jesus is God -- and they must repent or perish? |
