MSN Chat Room on February 23, 2004: The chat's topic is: thinking about judaism? TennesseeElijah : Hi keezok : hi TennesseeElijah : Are you a rabbi? keezok : no TennesseeElijah : Neither am I keezok : ok TennesseeElijah : What is on your mind today? keezok : nothing i am looking out the window at the snow TennesseeElijah : Day dreaming can be okay TennesseeElijah : I noticed your chat topic keezok : no not day dreaming i hate snow TennesseeElijah : When a person is warm inside, snow can be nice to see through a window. keezok : well it was better than what i felt like posting for a topic TennesseeElijah : Let's talk about what you felt like posting keezok : no in or out i still hate snow TennesseeElijah : Hate? There is a better way keezok : no hate is hate and i hate snow TennesseeElijah : I love snow except when I am trying to shovel my car out of a ditch or some similar thing TennesseeElijah : I hate hate. I try to stay positive keezok : i am sure you have your reasons for hating hate i have mine for hating snow TennesseeElijah : What are your reasons? keezok : i have many but mostly i hate snow because snow means cold and cold causes me a tremendous amount of pain TennesseeElijah : Pain is a good reason to hate snow. I sympathize TennesseeElijah : Can I ask a question about chat rooms? keezok : ask TennesseeElijah : When we create a room and then go away, how long does it stay? TennesseeElijah : As soon as we log off? keezok : until you close it TennesseeElijah : Okay. I assume "closing it" means logging off keezok : but only for the day on which you open it keezok : as the room you open is only a temp TennesseeElijah : Otherwise, there'd be too many rooms cluttering up things, I guess keezok : yes TennesseeElijah : Another question. I like to share my URL with others, but keep getting kicked out when I do. Why is that a problem? keezok : in most rooms only the host is allowed to display urls TennesseeElijah : Okay. I understand TennesseeElijah : I'm just getting started with this MSN chat room experience keezok : well you will find it lonely most of the time TennesseeElijah : I wonder if we could have chat rooms for a fee -- to keep it permanent? keezok : there is a way to have a permanent room keezok : but as i, myself do not have the time for it i just do the temp room TennesseeElijah : Life on earth is not permanent either -- unless we have a realistic spiritual experience. Do you believe that God has a plan worth considering? keezok : brb going to get some coffee TennesseeElijah : Okay keezok : back TennesseeElijah : I can't see ya -- but I can read ya keezok : coffee is good when it is cold TennesseeElijah : Do you keep it in the snow? keezok : keep what in snow? TennesseeElijah : The coffee -- to keep it cold keezok : i do not like anything cold TennesseeElijah : Let me see here, you hate snow, but you like cold coffee? TennesseeElijah : Ummmmm keezok : no you said that not i my coffee is hot TennesseeElijah : Oh. You said something about liking coffee when it is cold keezok : no i didnt TennesseeElijah : Roll it back to see what you said "Coffee is good when it is cold" keezok : i was referring to coffee being good when it is cold meaning cold outside TennesseeElijah : Oh. Sorry for my mistake keezok : hmmm TennesseeElijah : Next, you will be saying snow is good when it is hot keezok : doubtful TennesseeElijah : I'm laughing, but don't know why keezok : you must be christian TennesseeElijah : How can you tell? Because I am happy? keezok : your comments NOTE: "Christianity" is defined as a religion based on the life, teachings and example of Jesus Christ. Christians believe in the totality of God's Holy Word -- including the old books along with the New Testament. TennesseeElijah : Are you Jewish? keezok : yes TennesseeElijah : Good. I love Israel and the people who God chose as His own NOTE: "Judaism" is defined as a religion of the Jews that has its basis in the Bible and the Talmud. In Judaism, God is the creator of everything and the source of all goodness. Religious practices, customs and culture are a way of life for Jews. TennesseeElijah : Are we friends? keezok : i do not know you well enough to call you a friend TennesseeElijah : Yes you do. I am a child of God TennesseeElijah : You are a child of God. We are family keezok : hmmm TennesseeElijah : I love my friends -- and I love my enemies keezok : perhaps a far far sort of relative TennesseeElijah : No. We are close TennesseeElijah : Very close keezok : hmmm TennesseeElijah : We are One with God -- when we obey Him keezok : how do you surmise this? TennesseeElijah : The emphasis must always be on the Spirit keezok : hmmm TennesseeElijah : Flesh and blood shall not inherit the Kingdom of God keezok : you are christian so no relations TennesseeElijah : Jesus was born a Jew keezok : in fact not even close TennesseeElijah : Can you explain, please? keezok : so it has been said keezok : explain what? TennesseeElijah : Did you just say that Jesus was not born as a Jew? Please explain keezok : no i did not TennesseeElijah : What did ''in fact not even close" refer to? keezok : you said jesus was born a jew i replied with so it has been said TennesseeElijah : Okay. So, we have a Jew and a Christian trying to communicate TennesseeElijah : I think that is good keezok : not even close referred to being relatives or one with G-d keezok : when we obey him TennesseeElijah : Why are you saying this? TennesseeElijah : Have you not heard that God is no respector of persons? keezok : because christians do not obey G-d TennesseeElijah : Many people who profess to being "Christians" are not always believing or behaving as they should -- and the same is probably true of Jews keezok : not all jews abey G-d either but more jews obey G-d than even one christian TennesseeElijah : Maybe. Only God knows for sure keezok : not even one christian obeys G-d TennesseeElijah : We are not to judge each other. I disagree with your presumption keezok : no need to judge simply stating a fact TennesseeElijah : I assume that you do not regard Jesus as God -- and that is the reason for your opinion. I understand TennesseeElijah : If I am wrong, teach me. If you are wrong, who will teach you? keezok : a christian cannot be taught as a christian rejects everything no matter if it is right or wrong as christians think themselves to always be right TennesseeElijah : You are generalizing. How many Christians have you had a personal experience with? keezok : so i do not waste my time trying to teach a christian anything TennesseeElijah : Do you not care for your neighbors? keezok : no i have no need to generalize i simply state it TennesseeElijah : Keezok, God is Love. God loves everyone keezok : that is the simplistic christian concept i have read it many times TennesseeElijah : Do you long for peace in this world? 8Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê has joined the conversation. TennesseeElijah : If you find my views simplistic, maybe you should visit my site TennesseeElijah : Maybe you would change your mind if you read my writings? keezok : no thankyou keezok : doubtful TennesseeElijah : To each his own. Water always seeks its' own level keezok : water has no choice TennesseeElijah : Why do you feel inclined to insult Christians? keezok : the laws of nature decide the waters course TennesseeElijah : Christians in America have been good to Israel keezok : hmmm insult? my view insults you? Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : do you want to know why keezok : do not forget you are a christian who entered a jewish room Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : because your sinless unblemished offering is a lie TennesseeElijah : You tend to be showing a negative attitude towards me, because of my Christianity. Do you wish for me to leave? Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : jesus met none of the sacrifical laws Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : none Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : therefore he was not a sin antonement keezok : as a person i do not know you but your religion i know all too well Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : as do i Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : and its filled with lies half truths and hypocracy keezok : did i ask you to leave? TennesseeElijah : I understand your theology Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : we don't have theology TennesseeElijah : I understand your traditions Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : then if you do why do accept that jesus was a sin offering Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : when human sacrifice is strictly forbidden in torah Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : jesus died by suffocation not pure blood offering by a cut throat TennesseeElijah : It is an inner "conviction" that enables me to decipher Holy Words from a new perspective Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : he died on a cross not the altar keezok : actually if you understood you would not be a christian but a jew Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : he was brusied beaten that equals blemish Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : all sin offerings were to be without stain or blemish TennesseeElijah : Why did Abraham do what he did? Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : beaten and bruised is stain and blemish TennesseeElijah : What about Isaac? keezok : abraham did many things Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : abraham has nothing to do with the so called sin sacrifice Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : brb TennesseeElijah : Will "sacrifice" be required in heavenly places? keezok : exactly what do you term a heavenly place TennesseeElijah : Where is God? keezok : you do not know? TennesseeElijah : Is God not everywhere? TennesseeElijah : Why do we serve Him? TennesseeElijah : How do we obey Him? keezok : you ask too many questions let me ask one what is the purpose for jesus as a messiah? TennesseeElijah : Debating doctrinal matters can be very confusing TennesseeElijah : The coming of a Messiah was promised by prophets of old TennesseeElijah : Are you still waiting or has He already come? keezok : that does not answer the question TennesseeElijah : What is the purpose of God? keezok : hmmm keezok : you are unable to answer that one question TennesseeElijah : God is Truth; Truth is Love; Love is Beauty TennesseeElijah : I believe that Jesus is God -- and His purpose is to show us the Way, the Truth, and to give us the "Life" that we need in order to experience eternity with Him. God is Spirit. Jesus was both flesh and Spirit keezok : hmmm TennesseeElijah : I am not God, but God does inhabit the flesh of those who receive Him -- Spiritually keezok : so you follow jesus because you can get something out of it TennesseeElijah : No. That is not my motivation TennesseeElijah : I follow God (Jesus), because I love Him and desire to be obedient keezok : yes you follow jesus so you can live forever TennesseeElijah : Life would be nothing without God -- here or eternally Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : ok now im going to show you something else TennesseeElijah : I leave my fate in His hands Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : when all souls were created Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : they were created from the breath of G-D keezok : brb coffee time Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : the word for breath in hebrew is soul/spirit TennesseeElijah : The breath of God is the Life within each of us Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : essence Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : yes so now think about this TennesseeElijah : I think of myself as "living dirt." I am a soul Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : so when G-D created adam he breathed his soul into us Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : his essence Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : we then become a part of G-D Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : we are G-D within TennesseeElijah : I agree keezok : back Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : so according to christain scripture we are cut off from G-D TennesseeElijah : But, when we foolishly depart from His ways, we separate ourselves from Him Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : and we will go to hell if we dont accept christ Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : how can you depart from what you are apart of? Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : thats like losing a limb Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : you cant leave from what is inside of you TennesseeElijah : Spiritually, we are "linked" to God when we are obedient to His commandments Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : you cant seperate the soul from G-D TennesseeElijah : I know Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : can you just bare with me Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : im trying to show you something that is not taught in christianty but is taught in judaism TennesseeElijah : There is a difference between "Life" and "Knowledge." Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : judaism Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : G-D cannot seperate him/herself from him/herself TennesseeElijah : Okay Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : that is; like G-D cutting off his/her nose to spite his/her face TennesseeElijah : Maybe I am not making myself clear? Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : do you see my point Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : we are never disconnected from G-D TennesseeElijah : God is multi-faceted Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : even when we do wrong TennesseeElijah : The soul that sinneth shall die Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : and G-D would never condemn him/herself to hell TennesseeElijah : "Death" is the "separation" that I make reference to Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : the soul doesnt die Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : the name of G-D Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : YHVH Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : it means to be always being Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : the hebrew letters each bare a meaning TennesseeElijah : The "death" I am speaking of is not a physical death, but a spiritual death -- a "separation" Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : how does something that is in a continual state of being stop being or existing or die? TennesseeElijah : A human body is not "continual" Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : that is silly do you hear how silly that sounds? Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : G-D seperates Him/Herself from His/herself TennesseeElijah : Physically, our bodies return to dust upon death; Spiritually, we are either joined with the Father -- or we are separated Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : G-D cant TennesseeElijah : To be separated from God, a soul would still exist, but in a place of torment Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : so then what your saying is G-D condemns his herself to hell Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : and seperates him/herself from him/herself? TennesseeElijah : Hebrew and Greek can not always be translated into English in the way that is easily understandable Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : and then chooses to torment him/herself? Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : im sorry but i read hebrew TennesseeElijah : Good Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : not fluently but enough to be able to understand TennesseeElijah : To change the subject for a second, is it possible for Elijah the prophet to be sent to earth in our generation? Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : i think anything is possible TennesseeElijah : Either I am self-deceived, or I am he who was sent Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : but i also have a completely different understanding Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : and i was a christian for 12 yrs Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : and i pastored for 6 of those yrs TennesseeElijah : Since making my proclamation in 1982, only one person has accepted my presence Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : i was brought back home keezok : hmmm TennesseeElijah : Your experience as a pastor will help keezok : your proclamation is what? TennesseeElijah : I can give you a link. It is 23 minutes long Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : that your elisha? keezok : no just answer the question in ten words or less TennesseeElijah : I will let God -- and others decide Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : sorry he was a jew if he comes back it will be as a jew not a goy TennesseeElijah : Have you investigated my ancestors? Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : i dont need to invesitgate them he would be a jew live as a jew observe torah TennesseeElijah : That is your understanding Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : sorry G-D doesnt change the pattern of the way he does things keezok : lol Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : no that is torah TennesseeElijah : My understanding is that God is the same -- yesterday, today and forever Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : so suddenly G-D changed his mind? Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : so is torah which is G-D TennesseeElijah : Maybe a few people need to change their minds? Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : or is that revelation just a bit above your understanding? keezok : well if G-d decided to send down one of the prophets of old he would not send one down as a christian TennesseeElijah : Why do you wish to be condescending? TennesseeElijah : Nothing is impossible with God keezok : as the prophet of old being the same person would still be a jew Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : just like a sinia when torah was given it was given to every jew past present and future TennesseeElijah : Is God a Jew? keezok : and still follow jewish law Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : every jew true jew is living torah TennesseeElijah : Does God follow Jewish law? keezok : and teach jewish things Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : G-D give the law G-D is the law keezok : not christian twisted version TennesseeElijah : Do we serve Jewish law or God? Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : ty keez TennesseeElijah : Planet Earth is my Church -- and Life is my religion keezok : lol then you are neither christian nor jew TennesseeElijah : The Kingdom of God is for everyone keezok : you are new age TennesseeElijah : No. I am eternal age Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : lol keezok : by your own words keezok : life is my religion is what you typed TennesseeElijah : The tabernacle is not my temple; Jesus is my temple TennesseeElijah : Jesus is Life; God is Life TennesseeElijah : God and Jesus are One keezok : ok if you want a corpse for a temple that is fine by me TennesseeElijah : Jesus is alive 8thehazebeforedawn has joined the conversation. Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : lol keez thehazebeforedawn : Howdy TennesseeElijah : Hi keezok : but i would think it difficult to enter such a small temple TennesseeElijah : Spiritually TennesseeElijah : The Body of Christ is a Spiritual Temple -- so to speak keezok : hello haze Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : one discrepancy elijah thehazebeforedawn : Sorry for intruding, I am not Jewish, I'm here as a friend, a brother 8Guest_tabla_pyledancer has joined the conversation. Guest_tabla_pyledancer : hello thehazebeforedawn : Hi Dancer Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : in torah it says moshica will rebuild the temple and raien there but in revelations it says the antichrist will rebuild the temple and reign there TennesseeElijah : We need to start thinking of "Spirituality" and "psychological" as synonymous terms Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê : who is wrong and who is right? thehazebeforedawn : The man that loves and respects is always right TennesseeElijah : The Evil One will desecrate the new Temple in Israel at a point in the future. Satan incarnate is alive on earth as we speak keezok : i really hate to break it to you elijah but the age of the prophets has been long over in fact long before the birth of jesus so you are definately out in left field thinking yourself to be a returned prophet thehazebeforedawn : I think that men don't need a Satan to inspire them with horror and lies and violence Guest_tabla_pyledancer : lol thehazebeforedawn : Lots of men are satans TennesseeElijah : What is a prophet in your opinion? TennesseeElijah : What are teachers, apostles, prophets? Guest_tabla_pyledancer : not satan just evil men thehazebeforedawn : The one that teaches love between men, intelligence, peace, justice TennesseeElijah : God is the Creator; Satan is the imitator thehazebeforedawn : Sure thehazebeforedawn : Lots of men imitate God keezok : elijah go to a christian chat room they believe they can still be prophets thehazebeforedawn : but they don't succeed in that imitation TennesseeElijah : Ideas. Some true -- some false thehazebeforedawn : I am regularly kicked out from the so-called Christian rooms 8keezok has made Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê a Host. TennesseeElijah : Satan is here to steal, kill, and destroy Guest_tabla_pyledancer : i just got kicked out another room Guest_tabla_pyledancer : lol thehazebeforedawn : Kicked out by whom? Guest_tabla_pyledancer : a christian room TennesseeElijah : I get kicked out of Christian rooms all of the time thehazebeforedawn : Just like me Guest_tabla_pyledancer : i mentioned the movie passion of the christ... Guest_tabla_pyledancer : they flipped out TennesseeElijah : They get real nervous when Truth comes knocking on their door thehazebeforedawn : If I disagree with a fanatic hellfire pastor, he boots me out Guest_tabla_pyledancer : saying passion has nothing to do with christ (Suddenly, Elijah is kicked out!) You have been kicked out of the chat room by Host Åbstråçt-Ãñtístrøphê: hun it says jewish though not christian youve said your piece (Access ban set for 15 minutes) In summation, this is only one of many confrontations that I have had with Jews on message boards and in chat rooms. There has been hostility shown against me in other times and places by these special people who seldom tolerate my viewpoints. The above experience is a typical example of what casual conversation can lead to when random thoughts are being expressed. There was insufficient space or time to provide biblical substance in support of the principles underlying my remarks. Obviously, there are reasons why there is so much contention -- and I believe Mel's movie is only the current excuse for persons who want to justify their distrust of Christians. This "February 2004" message is a very sad commentary, but one that I hope will challenge offenders of civility to reconsider their negative attitudes. |

Christian/Jew/God/Jesus Passion By Tennessee Elijah |
Mel Gibson's blockbuster movie "The Passion of the Christ" seems to be creating controversy
between liberals and conservatives, between Christians and Christians
-- and even between Jews and Christians. The following is a personal Chat Room experience between Tennessee Elijah and others. A simple conversation between strangers can be very revealing. As you read, try to explain to yourself the reason why Elijah was kicked out of the room at the end of the conversation. |
One of the poster's in the above Chat Room made reference to Mel Gibson's movie --
which will ultimately be a classic blockbuster: THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST is
a vivid depiction of the last 12 hours of Jesus Christ's life. "Sometime around the year A.D. 30, in the Roman province of Palestine, an obscure Jewish carpenter named Jesus of Nazareth began to teach publicly and to proclaim the coming of a 'Kingdom of God.' For centuries, the Jewish people had expected the appearance of a promised deliverer known as the Messiah --a figure who would restore their ancient dignity, and free their sacred homeland from all evil and despair. In the minds of many, Jesus appeared to be this Messiah. Surrounded by a core group of twelve disciples, Jesus began to attract a massive following from among the common people of Galilee and Judea, who eventually praised him as their Messiah and King. However, Jesus also had many enemies in Jerusalem. The Sanhedrin, a governing senate composed of the leading Jewish priests and Pharisees, conspired to put Jesus to death. With the aid of Judas Iscariot, a member of Jesus' own inner circle, the Sanhedrin succeeded in arresting Jesus, handing him over to the Roman secular authorities on unsubstantiated charges of treason against Rome. Although Jesus consistently maintained that his Kingdom was a heavenly and spiritual one, the Roman procurator Pontius Pilate, faced with the possibility of a riot, ordered that Jesus be taken outside the city and crucified as a common criminal." |
