Welcome To This Evil World! |
Welcome to a Spiritual environment where the impossible become possible as we contemplate the most profound and greatest
challenge facing people of all nations! Loving enemies, and bringing peace to Earth, seems like great ideas, but it will never happen unless all people learn to understand the basic principles which turn bad experiences into good experiences during daily lives. The philosophical Spirit language of this important subject may not be familiar to you if Christianity is a religion that you've never studied. Even if you are a practicing Christian, you may not be able to scrupulously interpret these expressed thoughts without first confirming your impressions with the Father Creator in a quiet time of prayer during secret communion. For the sake of clarity, expect the unexpected when you encounter communications presented by this "man from Tennessee" -- who comes to you in the Spirit and power of Elijah over the Internet, and in other ways designed to challenge conventional thinking. Higher awareness can come to all of us, step-by-step, after a pure Spiritual foundation -- based on God's universal Laws has been systematically formed within human consciousness. Determination, and individual self-discipline is essential to achieve understanding! As we have seen in this era saturated with negative forces, a debilitating sense of complacency prevents many timid hearts from venturing out of their habitual way of thinking. At the other end of the spectrum, where frustration and impatience reigns supreme, demonstrations of intolerance and hate against enemies has become frequent occurrences. Have you ever watched television talk shows? Have you ever participated in Internet chat rooms? Have you ever debated politics or religion? The rationale for rude interactions between hateful people is statistically classified in a multitude of homes -- on city streets, and in our places of employment during personal experiences. The result of deadly confrontations between angry people is even made known to most of us as a result of media reports. We are constantly being made aware of emotionally immature people who lose control of emotions -- screaming or fighting in response to agitation which often leads to combative confrontations. How do we learn to tolerate uncivilized imbeciles? Superficially, we see what appears to be a sensible person going berserk with the abnormal intention of bruising, maiming or killing others whom they have perceived as being responsible for pushing them past the boundaries of self-control. Why does personal anguish cause such turbulence? Why do sensible people suddenly become so erratic? How does anyone justify hate and violence? There are nutritional and spiritual factors regarding subtle reasons for glandular secretions that cause unstable human emotions which should be identified by leaders of the world in a public forum with the intent of formulating a comprehensive plan designed to assure modification of irregular behavior. Are human brains activated in negative ways because of internal dissemination of information only or should blame be cast solely upon external stimuli contrived out of circumstances? Was the emotional human outrage based on a factual occurrence or was there misinterpretation due to a distorted sense of reality? Are verbal assaults coming from hearts filled with Love or from souls filled with cantankerous carnal perceptions? Was the brutal physically abusive and revengeful retaliation against an enemy a sensible resolution for a wrong done? Is it possible that irrational human behavior is a result of evil spirits? Why have certain segments of humanity been conditioned to believe that they have been justified through cultural, religious or historic traditions and are, somehow, obligated to do unto others all of the bad stuff others have already done unto them? What can be done in civilized societies about fools who choose to despise Love, and then decide to become violent enemies? Evil people can be very unkind, doing stupid cruel things without remorse and many even seem to enjoy their exploits! What should we do when our reputation is ruined, because of evil rumors coming out of the warped minds of pathological liars? What should we do if a neighbor borrows a lawnmower, and then returns it broken without offering to pay for repair? What should we do when the kid next door throws a rock at our dog, and hits the kitchen window instead? What should we do when morons tailgate us at fast speeds, and almost demolish our car when traffic stops unexpectedly? Do we have a right to get angry? Do we have a right to administer a sobriety test? Do we have a right to question their intelligence? Do we have a right to expect an apology? Do we have a right to be compensated for damages done? What do we do about idiots when they make Life miserable for peace-lovers who value silent meditation, secret communion with God, pleasant conversation, enjoyable productive activities, artistic pursuits -- and secure homes in safe communities? When ordinary enemies demonstrate inappropriate behavior, what intellectual or spiritual defenses do we have in our psychological arsenal to help us survive? If we are fortunate enough to live until the age of 100, it would be safe to assume that not one day will go by without encountering troublesome, barbarous individuals who make Life difficult. Contemporary Life on Planet Earth in 2001 has caused most of us to become paranoid about strangers, suspicious of friends and easily annoyed by unpredictable family members. Making eye-to-eye contact in public is a rare experience, because most people passing by us are evasive instead of friendly. It's common to experience hostility and belligerency over the smallest aggravation whether we are at home, in our place of employment, wandering around the mall or anywhere else where we encounter eccentrics with a loose screw. Maybe enemies dislike our physical appearance -- thinking we are too short, too fat, too skinny, too tall, too white or too black? Maybe we accidentally bumped them, snubbed them, grinned when we should have cried or said the wrong thing? Maybe we remind them of someone else who once insulted them, stole their sweetheart, flipped to the wrong channel during a favorite TV show -- or ate the last piece of their favorite cake? Emotional agitation is a common experience for most of us, because too many oddballs seem to be rocking our boats! Christians are almost afraid to say or do anything that may annoy weirdos who plague us with their presence. Most smart Christians hesitate to resolve contradictory opinions. Christians are becoming more reluctant to express confidence in God publicly, because of harassment, insults and rejection. We Christians try to stay strong in our faith, yet we feel like we are fighting a futile war against people with cement in their brains. The days of our lives are dominated by bad news! We have frequent anxieties about locking doors to keep thieves away from valuable possessions that we've worked hard to attain. We have learned to look over our shoulder to keep from getting stabbed in the back and to avoid city parks or dark places to keep from being robbed by a fool who would rather steal than find a job. Life has taught us that fearing strangers is sensible! We think we are wise when we carry a weapon for protection! We believe we are being rational when we avoid troublemakers! Conventional thinking and behavior in this wicked world doesn't make it easy for good people to take control of bad situations. The open door to rational reasoning has been closed by evil! Human communications have become corrupted by deception! Suspicion has become more common than trust! Christians who voluntarily do kind things to help others are sometimes suspected of having selfish, ulterior motives -- and are often criticized when showing compassion or giving charity. Mature senior citizens who attempt to offer wise advice when seeing a need are often ignored or treated in condescending ways by disrespectful younger people. Young fools do not relate to mature intelligence! We need radical changes in thinking throughout the world before Truth, Love and Beauty becomes completely debased by cynical opposition to harmonious relationships! Maybe changes need to begin within ourselves? Maybe we should all take a giant leap back to sanity? Maybe we shouldn't allow stupid ideas to control our thoughts? Peace on Earth will never become an absolute actuality unless people of all ages are taught the fundamental techniques required to nurture inner-peace through constant self-Love. Christian speakers need to speak more about Love! Christian writers need to write more about Love! People need to realize the significance of Love! Most people do not realize the significance of God! There is only one God -- and He is Love! Love is another name for God! Unfortunately, ordinary people who lack supernaturally-imparted faith don't understand how or why God consistently chooses to reveal Himself in such unorthodox, subtle, overtly shocking -- or mysterious ways. God comes to us in many forms and with many names! Let's not be too quick to define God. People tend to reduce God down to their intellectual level! Trying to understand God is a lifetime endeavor! To fully comprehend the fullness of God, we would need to be His equal in every way -- and that will never happen! It is only by God-given faith that we can enter into a relationship with His Spiritual essence. We are all doomed to a Life dominated by primitive reasoning without faith in the reality of God! If we set up self-imposed barriers within our minds due to a lack of understanding, we will never be able to progress into the omnipotent dimension of Love (meaning God within us). Until we learn how to experience unconditional Love for ourselves, it's impossible for us to give unconditional Love to others as we strive to walk the precarious path less traveled. When we Love ourselves, it doesn't mean that we become so self-centered that we epitomize selfish or egotistical behavior. To Love ourselves means that we accept ourselves for whom we are by overcoming feelings of inadequacy or inferiority when failing to achieve artificially imposed expectations. Once we learn how to Love ourselves, knowing how imperfect we are, it becomes much easier to tolerate flaws in others. Without a doubt, learning to Love ourselves is the most difficult challenge any of us will ever confront as we proceed to learn how to Love enemies! How do mere humans ever begin to conquer hate? How do we rid ourselves of hate -- this evil scourge against humanity? As impossible as it is to believe, Loving enemies is feasible when choices are made to allow God to reside in a soul. Human Life evolves because of a succession of choices. Choices we make determines the nature of a soul! Souls are manifested in flesh when good or bad spirits influence everything said or done. Watch what people do, and listen to what they say if you want to get a glimpse into the true nature of a soul. Could there be any experience better than Love? Love provides more pleasure than money! Love defeats more enemies than weapons! Love creates more good feelings than hate! Unless humankind has buried their heads under Satan's wings, we should realize that God is Love! When God dominates souls, internal evil forces that initiate inappropriate responses to provocation will no longer dictate personal behavior. It's impossible for hate to exist in Love-filled souls! In other words, when we invite Love(God) to abide in our hearts, we become more powerful than every bad situation in Life and our emotions will no longer be easily offended by enemies. The act of Loving enemies becomes a lifestyle filled with problem-solving endeavors filled with eternal consequences once we understand why Love is the only weapon needed to overcome evil! We can annihilate enemies with Love! We can overwhelm rudeness with goodness. We can patiently forgive without condition. We can eradicate ignorance with ordinary intelligence -- simply by accepting the Love of Jesus into our hearts! Why do people devote themselves to false religions? Why does anyone allow evil people to torment their lives? Anyone can push the magic soul-cleansing button if they just go to God in humility and repent of sin. Anyone can receive supernatural power, making it possible to Love enemies if they simply take time to acknowledge the reality of Jesus -- and allow the Holy Spirit to dominate their thoughts. Yes, making decisions based on faith is difficult if we have been taught to rely only on human intellect. Satan has twisted minds in so many weird ways, it's almost impossible for confused people to change how they think. Many thinkers believe in manmade religions while others actually believe in a multitude of "no God" evolutionary theories. Many followers of Christian philosophies claim to believe Jesus is God, yet they've been deceived into believing false doctrines based on incompetent translations of His Word. No wonder the pages of human history speak of war! What do we do when fools confront us with misconceptions? What do we do when fools torment us with contradictions? What do we do when fools deceive us in the name of God? Do we respond to lies with more lies or do we speak Truth to enemies -- gingerly sucking hot wind out of their wrinkled sails? What do we do if mean-spirited neighbors spit in our face? Do we spit back or do we wipe it off with a smile? What do we do if thieves steal our property? Do we report it to the police with throbbing, vindictive yearnings or do we go to the store and buy new stuff? What do we do if people we Love are getting too mean, too unclean or too obscene and refuse to change bad habits? Do we treat losers with scorn or give them Love? What do we do if the man next door burns our house down in a fit of jealous rage, because we smiled at his homely wife? Do we apologize for being friendly or do we visit him in jail while his family members are required by law to rebuild our home under government supervision? Maybe most idiots would be less likely to commit criminal acts if they knew that their families would be held responsible? Maybe good families should make personal discipline a top priority? Restitution for crimes should be a family affair enforced by law! Unless all rebellious young men are completely crazy, they would think twice before breaking the law if they knew mom, dad, brothers and sisters would be legally obligated to return property and pay back money stolen during armed robberies. If laws were written to hold families responsible for crimes committed by single members, wouldn't it be sensible for them to unite in self-control rather than to suffer legal consequences? Wouldn't parents try their best to make sure that their children were taught how to stay out of trouble -- rather than being forced to assume restitution for antisocial acts? Under this plan, the financial assets of families would be severely altered if defiant, ignorant relatives break the law! How much money would be enough to compensate victimized families who mourn the loss of a loved-one, because an evil murderer destroyed the tranquillity of an otherwise peaceful existence? Should money be the standard for determining justice? What price should convicted criminals be forced to pay? Once a legal judgment has placed a dollar-value on losses resulting from crimes, restitution by guilty families could take the form of public apologies, home confinement, cash payments, transfer of possessions and/or performance of various skilled services. What would happen if we passed laws like these? What would happen to the psyche of criminals who had to experience the wrath of a family that was forced to pay back society? If state sponsored incarceration was a last resort for repeat offenders who had no prospect for parole, maybe we would begin to see a reduction in criminal behavior. As we know, instant transformation of headstrong people by promoting adherence to moral lifestyles will not be possible if systems continue to emphasize punishment over rehabilitation. Programs designed to supervise responsible families who become burdened by wayward relatives would be more compassionate, more effective, and less costly! Meanwhile, what do we do about suicide bombers who murder helpless, unsuspecting people? What price should guilty families be forced to pay? Do we send suicide bombers of our own to revenge losses, start a war to wipe out their national place of origin or do we overcome sorrow through forgiveness and Love? Many problems which ruin the lives of individuals are the same problems undermining nations; ignorance and hate! What should the United States do if Russians sell nuclear weapons to mentally unstable terrorists in Iran, Iraq or Syria, knowing that international stability has been compromised? When nations become threatened because of irresponsible arms sales, should concerns be restricted only to diplomacy? When a nation with military superiority seeks to promote arms reduction treaties under the guise of establishing mutual destruction deterrence, should potential enemies feel at ease, believing that a standoff makes good sense? If a nation with sufficient resources desires to transform all weapons on the planet into useful farming tools, should they be willing to offer commodities as an inducement to cooperation? Where do most Americans stand on controversial issues? How should civilized people attempt to solve problems? Maybe aggressive political enemies could be appeased by consistent generous acts of sincere kindness? Maybe nations have been turned into enemies, because of overly aggressive business-related ventures or by rude political leaders who undervalue the dignity of adversaries? Do bankers know that we are all equal in the eyes of God? Must the strong always attempt to enslave the weak? Attempting to create wealth from the sweat of the masses can aggravate workers who learn to rebel against authority when greedy entrepreneurs play money-games indiscriminately. What value is placed on time, talent and expended human energy? When the only recourse is to march on streets with cardboard signs to vent anger, how should society respond? Threatening arrest or job losses doesn't put food on the table! Arrogance by the elite never restores trust in faltering relationships! Replacing hate with Love has to be the first step to peace -- whether the authority is dealing with persecuted workers, children throwing stones or nations bombing neighbors! Maybe we need to learn unconditional forgiveness -- doing our best to remain dignified -- even though tolerance of negative behavior can be misconstrued as irrationality, cowardly fear or military weakness when provoked by hostile aggressions? It takes courage to do good when adversaries mistakenly believe that Love makes Christians easy prey! Only fools would think civilized behavior is timidity when we refuse to battle back against random acts of persecution. Fools say in their heart, "There is no God." Fools say in their heart, "There is no Love." No matter what fools say, hating fools is not a virtue! Punishing those who do wrong is not a restraint! Two wrongs do not add up to make one right! Fighting fire with fire creates catastrophic results! The "eye for an eye" philosophy can start chain reactions from sympathizers and imitators -- bringing about a never-ending succession of abhorrent confrontations. God(Love) is the only effective authority when dealing with disputes among opposing forces! Respect for Love must be established within institutions that are now responsible for maintaining law and order! Do unto others as you would have them do unto you! We need to encourage world leaders to incorporate Love into the management of all multifaceted government endeavors. Too often, punishment of offenders in the name of justice has become a concept born out of revenge -- instead of Love! Justice would be best served in this world if emphasis was placed on transformation rather than incarceration. The death penalty is a travesty against sanity! Through loving acts of forgiveness, instruction and through opportunities provided to bring about meaningful restitution to victims, societies would be able to begin the humane process of restoring order out of chaos. WE NEED TO CHANGE OUR THINKING! Eradicate negative actions with positive reactions! Did your best friend get run over by a drunk driver? Give the drunk a big hug and teach him the art of sobriety! Did your husband commit adultery with your sister? Be nice to yourself by not having sex with him anymore! Did your daughter get arrested for swimming naked? Tell her she's beautiful and then buy her a bikini! Did your wife ask for a divorce when you lost your job? Send her to a psychologist after you find a better job! Did your banker refuse to give you a new car loan? Be grateful that you're not paying high interest on debt! Did your sister get pregnant in the ninth grade? Invite the father-to-be to be your brother-in-law! Did your hand get bit when feeding the dog? Keep your hands away from his food! Life can turn unpleasant when we least expect it! Life can become pleasant when we make it happen. Stupid people do things to cause pain. Smart people do things to cause pleasure. Obviously, doing anything to hurt others is not intelligent. Stupid things are done by fools who make Life difficult -- either through a freak accident, some impulsive behavior, out of ignorance or out of conscious desire as a result of premeditated evil intent. Nice things are done by people who want to make Life better, because it is their inherent God-nature to be humane! Evaluating the motives of others is never an easy task! Why did we get screamed at by a stranger? Why did a stranger help us change a flat tire? Why did we get that weird, threatening phone call? Why did a neighbor invite us over for lunch? Why did we get short-changed when paying a bill? Why did a distant relative send a check as a gift in the mail? Why did we get snubbed at the family reunion? Why did friends give us a birthday party? Why did we cry over the loss of a loved one? Why did the smile of a child make us happy? What makes us think the way we do? What makes us do the way we think? Once we are smart enough to realize the extent to which all events on this planet affect Life because of spiritual warfare, we will be able to selectively accept or reject forces flowing through us -- which emanate from either God or Satan. For those who have not been told, there is a dividing line between opposing factions. You and all people must choose to stand with either God or Satan in peace or war! Why should Christians take revenge against human enemies when evil spiritual beings are the real culprits? Spirits are free to roam through submissive souls! Spirits are not confined to any single human body! While we are punishing specific human bodies for wrongs done, guilty spirits are feeling gratified, knowing they are free to find other vulnerable fleshly dwelling places. Most people are unwitting conduits as spirit forces flow in and out -- influencing behavior in various ways. When wisdom is lacking, a distinction between right and wrong is not easily made. Learning to conform to the laws of God is wise! For those who haven't been taught, the Laws of God regulate time, space, matter, energy, balance, harmony and all functions of Life -- relative to nature throughout the universe. Through various means, every person alive is methodically conditioned and taught to make choices. Who has been teaching us to believe what we believe? If hate is something we refuse to subdue, why not hate Satan when he causes good people to do bad things! If all nations were taught to understand the nature of spirit forces, we would be better able to -- systematically -- act or react in a more creative, civilized and productive manner. If young children were exposed to exemplary behavior through proper parental guidance, if educational institutions were designed as mind formation systems, if key themes in repetitive media presentations were positive and if demonstrations of Love principles were demonstrated in the lives of role models, nations would practice war no more. Instead of emulating Jesus, most people on this planet have been taught how to satisfy their own selfishness! Philosophies contrary to Christian values, deceptive secular ideas and images filled with depravity in the media -- all contribute to the degeneration of human souls within abnormal societies! Should Christians attempt to stop the vicious cycle of evil? Should we cleanse ourselves from intellectual cesspools currently contaminating Spirit minds with illusions? No matter how difficult it is to believe, we need to remind ourselves over and over again -- Loving enemies isn't possible until we learn to Love ourselves! If we fail to forgive ourselves for mistakes made, how can we ever hope to forgive others for their mistakes? If we fail to learn how to Love ourselves, knowing the evil we secretly harbor, how can we hope to Love enemies? Who should be blamed for messing up our lives? Somehow, every person needs to learn how to separate the good self from the bad self! Is it possible to exclude the bad self from the freedom of expression while the good self speaks without restriction? Have we been doing to ourselves what we do to others? Is it possible to ostracize the bad self while the good self is allowed to freely enjoy the good things of Life? Maybe a book is needed, entitled, "Bad Self? Good Self?" We can then let enemies read our book -- after we read theirs! Taking time to learn how others think might be wise. Is it possible that the good self can overcome the bad self by replacing self-denial, low self-esteem, suppressed guilt or anger with positive mind-healing thought processes? Do others do to you what you do unto others? We can decide to blame others for our problems or we might decide to admit our mistakes through a process of self-forgiveness. What are the thought processes we experience? We may think that striking out against those who make us feel bad will make us feel better -- not having yet learned how anger turned loose by wounded hearts returns to senders. To keep relationships intact, let's blame Satan instead of human enemies for mistakes made and then allow the Holy Spirit to guide us as we seek harmonious reconciliation. We know that Lucifer and his demonic followers can fill our days on Earth with countless opportunities to do wrong. So, the next time evil ideas come to torment you, why not pause, make a sensible evaluation -- and then do what Jesus would do! Do you know what Jesus would do? Once we repent of sin and accept His leadership in our lives, Jesus makes us wise enough to resist workers of iniquity. Learning how to make distinctions between human bodies and invisible spirit souls is a full-time job! When we wake in the morning after resting all night, do we get up with enthusiasm, eager to enjoy another happy day? Good souls love Life; bad souls favor self-destruction. When we look in the mirror to see a familiar face reflected back are we really looking at the true image of ourselves? Do we see a soul or a body in the glass? When physical appearances dominate human values, we can surgically alter our faces, lift weights, dress in stylish fashions and in the name of self-improvement, become our own god. Did we forget that the body is only a garment worn by a soul? Looking like movie stars doesn't guarantee a happy life! Feeling inferior, because we look different than another person is a soul problem -- not a physical problem! Priorities for maintaining realistic self-identities should never be focused exclusively on outward appearances! Focus attention on the way people think! Focus thoughts on the nice things people do! Focus desires on the happiness people give you during daily Life! The gift of Life has been made possible by God! This desire to live in conformity to Truth, Love and Beauty is a spiritual blessing that enables joyful interactions. Practical application of spiritual laws becomes evident in every aspect of human Life once we decide to obey God! Before we choose the food we eat, select clothing to wear or decide what to do each day on the way to fulfilling destiny, let's listen to that quite inner voice before making choices. God's plan for us is superior to our feeble ambitions! Maybe we've been so busy being carnally-minded that we haven't heard anything the Holy Spirit has tried to tell us? Let's ask God for good desires as we do what is required to open holy doors to holy opportunities. Bad desires must be suppressed and ejected from a soul! A healthy soul requires a healthy body to function with joy! Maybe our internal chemistry is out of balance and certain exotic foods are needed to correct our biological system? Have you ever had an urge to eat peanuts, apples, oatmeal, celery, cherries, onions, olives, horse radish, flax, sesame or sunflower seeds? Have you ever had an urge to drink coconut milk with pure honey or drink orange, berry, carrot, beet or tomato juice? Is it possible that wise spirits in the soul know more about our internal chemistry than doctors and have been trying to send messages to us through our physical appetites? Before we eat, speak irrelevant words or do anything that we will regret later, let's ask for heaven-sent inspiration -- so we can be a help instead of a hindrance to ourselves and others. Have you ever had an urge to try a new lifestyle? Have you ever had an urge to search for Truth? Most people have unspoken concerns needing specific resolution, yet they fail to understand that only Jesus has the knowledge required to put the elements together in a way that can be helpful. Spoken and written words are very, very powerful! Are we telling jokes to someone on their way to a funeral? Are we making rude remarks to polite people? Are we explaining how wagons work to rocket scientists? Are we trying to teach snakes how to walk? Are we feeling compelled to reject people who consistently make statements contrary to our way of thinking? We need to stay in touch with God if we want to avoid making impulsive, random, irresponsible statements! Words not only convey thoughts from our mind(soul), but they carry spirit forces with unlimited potential. Facial expressions along with the tone of our voice can play an important role during communication processes. Are people who are inclined to listen when we speak -- comforted or irritated by the mixed signals we send? Do we habitually express ourselves in a loud, abrasive, cruel, dictatorial manner or do we project humble dignity? Do we arrogantly assume that our opinions are superior to others who take a contrary point-of-view or do we refrain from acting disrespectful during conversations? Does the intent of our heart -- through physical demeanor, personal actions, and reactions -- speak louder than words? Do we express ourselves honestly and with loving kindness when trying to influence family, friends and enemies? Maybe we resist self-improvement? Do we make a sincere effort to avoid conflict? Nobody wants to be ridiculed for their ideas. Nobody wants to be reminded of sorrowful experiences. Nobody wants to be reprimanded over past mistakes. Nobody wants to be treated like a fool -- even if they are! Nobody wants to be falsely accused! If people with good intentions make wrong choices and allow evil forces to be manifested through communications, a wrong use of words can destroy relationships. Conceited people exalt themselves and often brag about their successes in order to impress others who then feel inferior when failing to measure-up to artificially imposed standards. Do weak people need weaker people to feel strong? Do powerful people try to diminish the influence of competitors? Do famous people exalt themselves over the unknown masses? How many self-righteous servants of God are exhibiting condescending attitudes by placating inquisitors? How many selfish overbearing rich people talk incessantly about materialistic fortunes -- seldom giving credit where credit is due? Do scholarly religious people quote the Bible frivolously to justify contempt for evil acquaintances -- thinking insulting remarks cloaked in Bible verses is an appropriate form of instruction for sinners in need of good advice? When Christians focus on imperfect souls, shouldn't we emphasize forgiveness instead of condemnation? Should Christians be kind to losers? Should people who love Jesus be good to enemies? If true Christians are serious about transforming minds and saving souls, shouldn't we be setting good examples for sinners who need to know why holy thinking, holy speaking and holy living should be an integral part of daily Life? Before Christians try to teach others, maybe we should teach ourselves by standing in front of a mirror to say: God loves you just the way you are! God forgives you when you make mistakes! God wants you to be good to bad people! Should hypocrites be considered worthy of respect? Should we teach ourselves before we try teaching others? Should we love ourselves before we try loving enemies? Maybe we lack faith? Maybe we are victims of circumstances? Maybe we have been our own worse enemy? Maybe we have been making a huge mess of Life by constantly making stupid choices? Are we unhappy with ourselves for reasons coming out of erroneous values or fallacious self-discrimination? Do we like our physical appearance? Do we think we are smart enough? Do we have nice clothes to wear? Do we enjoy good food when hungry? Do we live in a nice house? Do we have enough money to buy everything we want? Do we empathize with others who have similar weaknesses, desires, concerns or questions? Maybe a father has shown disappointment because we became an engineer instead of a medical doctor? Maybe a mother makes us feel like we are all thumbs when we try to help prepare meals in the kitchen? Maybe a sister or a brother receives better treatment from parents, because they have a knack for manipulation? Do others in our family really know us? Maybe we've never experienced their acceptance when being ourselves -- and so we go around pretending to be someone else? Maybe rejection is a common occurrence? Maybe jealous friends make us feel like we are homely or boring -- even though we look very good and have a pleasing personality? Maybe competitive co-workers discourage us from going after lofty goals, because they resent anyone with ambition? Maybe we're so unconventional in our intelligent that most people are too dumb to understand anything we say or do? Maybe in our persecuted state of mind, avoiding enemies rather than loving enemies seems like a rational option if we want to avoid problems? Conventional thinking often makes Life tumultuous! When we do something wrong, making us hurt inside, do we allow pain to seep deep into emotions, churning over and over, causing us mental anguish and sleepless nights? We can overcome pain by creating pleasure in return! We know that God can help enemies change their ways and happiness can come when Love washes sorrow away! We can use the God(Love) power to make friends of our enemies if we respond to antagonism with positive reactions! Satanically inspired people -- those who make this world an unhappy place to live -- do not expect victims to respond with kindness when evil is forced upon them. What would happen if we baked a cake for the old man next door who accuses us of throwing weed seeds on his lawn? What would happen if we gave a box of groceries to ornery relatives who steal food out of our garden? What would happen if pregnant women allowed loving families to adopt their babies instead of having abortions? What would happen if convicts were released from prison and sent to Happy Towns where they could be transformed? What would happen if Palestinians started throwing flowers, instead of stones to celebrate friendship, instead of hate? What would happen if Ariel Sharon sent Yasser Arafat a Rolls Royce instead of a missile -- knowing forgiveness is better than vengeance? What would happen if we all did good instead of evil? What would happen if American tax dollars were spent on healthcare and education for children instead of on excessive retirement pensions for retired, wealthy politicians? What would happen if military equipment metal was used to make farm implements? What would happen if bungling bureaucratic systems were dismantled when proven ineffective and frivolous criminal prosecution of enemies was outlawed? What would happen if families were guaranteed sufficient wages to sustain respectable lifestyles? What would happen if American families living in poverty started receiving financial benefits in the form of government subsidies based on modest standards to assure adequate home care for children? What would happen if every American citizen was given a free education, free housing, free healthcare and free food from economic entities established by the government for the purpose of transitory development in preparation for permanent employment within the competitive marketplace? What would happen if these same people were then utilized for a period of time in programs designed to facilitate progress within international neighborhood systems which would assure self-sustaining lifestyles for those who need assistance? What would happen if people were taught how to give and forgive, instead of taking and making more trouble all of the time? Isn't Life what we make it, anymore? If we can learn how to act, can't we learn how to react? If we can learn what to do, can't we learn what not to do? If we can learn how to hate, can't we learn how to Love? The next time an inferior person does something bad to disturb us, let's ask, What good can we do in return? Taking control of bad situations will make us feel stronger. Returning good for evil will make us feel smarter. If we Christians exhibit virtuous behavior in response to adversity, we might begin to see intrigued observers deciding to do likewise. "Monkey see, monkey do" is not a new idea! People are very impressionable! If we can be taught, maybe we can teach! Traditional Christianity needs to be refined! Traditional communications need to be defined! When our daily lives are reflected through the warped minds of secularists in the media, it contributes to human degeneration rather than reinforcing qualities required for social redemption. Why are the masses allowing their minds to be corrupted by persons or institutions who promote discord, violence and hate? Maybe we should stop polluting minds with bad news? Maybe people should stop reading bad books? Maybe we should stop going to bad movies? Maybe we should stop practicing bad religions? Maybe we should stop supporting troublemakers? Maybe publishers, broadcasters, politicians and entertainers should stop publicizing deception and violence? Life is made worse -- not better -- when the "public" is informed about every car accident, robbery, rape, murder, fire, bombing, or some other devastating disaster! People are made to feel insecure when they realize what happens in places far removed from their personal reality. The media feeds our natural tendency to satisfy curiosity by sending us information which produces needless anxiety. If we watch and listen, they'll keep showing and talking! Wouldn't it be newsworthy if bad news was unpopular? Wouldn't it be newsworthy if good news was preferred? Wouldn't it be newsworthy if Jesus was a journalist? Wouldn't it be newsworthy if unrestrained Love from good people obliterated bad people? Wouldn't it be newsworthy if Christians rejected lifestyles created by satanic forces? Wouldn't it be newsworthy if "loving enemies" became a popular international phenomenon before 2003? People who are consumed with hate justify their behavior, because of false religious faith -- or no faith at all. Evil people habitually resist opening their minds to Truth. We all become slaves to our own ideas! To unbelievers, the Bible is just a compilation of short stories written by strange men who would be labeled as "lunatics, liars, idiots" -- or worse if they had the misfortune of being alive today. Regardless of skepticism, let nations who are willing, consider the words of Jesus in Matthew 5:44 -- "But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you." For those who have doubts about the Divinity of Jesus, consider the words attributed to Him in John 14:6 -- "I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." Whether humankind decides to embrace the theories of Charles Darwin, Islam, orthodox Christianity, Sir Isaac Newton, Palestinian Muslims, Judaism, Roman Catholics -- or choose to believe agnostic or atheistic philosophies, the Holy Koran, Mohammed the prophet, Socrates, Zionism, Hitler's fallacy's, Communism, a New Age Guru -- or the words of this prophet, Satan's deceptions are here to stay until God removes him! Meanwhile, does it take a genius to figure out why hate is a destructive force that only Love can conquer? Must this planet continue to be corrupted by aggressive fools? Elijah is saying to all world leaders: Identify your enemies; try to make peace with your enemies; house and feed your enemies; show respect for your enemies; share good news with your enemies; share good music and art with your enemies; share good information with your enemies; teach your enemies how to relate to other people; teach your enemies to value Truth, Love, and Beauty; teach your enemies good skills; give your enemies opportunities to practice their skills; reward your enemies for the good they do; give your enemies freedom to choose their lifestyle; forget mistakes enemies made in the past; forgive enemies for wrongs done. And then when you have done it all, teach enemies to... Love their enemies! Love is the only weapon capable of destroying hate! |
