Several clever scientists in the 1930s were able to use machines that were capable of breaking apart the nuclear cores of atoms -- which confirmed Einstein's inspired formula -- E=mc².

Men who were
eagerly in pursuit of proving or disproving theories led to
the release of energy in a nuclear transformation that was so great it caused
a detectable change in the mass of the nucleus. Nuclear physicists of the past were astounded and elated, but their accomplishments during the study of nuclei had little interest from Einstein. Their so-called team effort was alien to Einstein's habit of abstract thought, which was usually done alone or
with a mathematical assistant.

Finally, after many months of experimentation in 1939, nuclear physicists asked Albert Einstein for assistance on a political level. The fission of the uranium nucleus had been discovered, and physicists realized that uranium might be used to make enormously devastating bombs. They had reason to fear that Nazi Germany might construct such weapons. Einstein, reacting to danger from Hitler's aggression, had already abandoned his strict pacifism. He was willing to sign a letter that was delivered to the American president, Franklin D. Roosevelt, warning him to take action. The letter, and a second Einstein-Szilard letter of March 1940, enabled other scientists to prod the United States government into preparing for nuclear warfare. Einstein
played no other role in the nuclear bomb project.
E=mc²
In explaining his E=mc² equivalence of energy and matter formula, Albert Einstein said, "It followed from the special theory of relativity that mass and energy are both but different manifestations of the same thing -- a somewhat unfamiliar conception for the average mind. Furthermore, the equation E is equal to m c-squared, in which energy is put equal to mass, multiplied by the square of the velocity of light, showed that very small amounts of mass may be converted into a very large amount of energy
and vice versa."

Today, as we see mini-wars between terrorists and defenders of freedom progressing in many nations, physicists who understand the potential danger from formidable and dangerous weapons cannot desist from warning and warning again: they cannot and should not slacken in their efforts to make government leaders of this world aware of unspeakable disasters that a climactic war is certain to provoke unless negative attitudes towards each other -- and towards the task of shaping the future -- are urgently changed
in positive ways.
Einstein, and others through the years, influenced the development of nuclear weapons in order to prevent the enemies of humankind from achieving domination ahead of those who value Life and peace. Given the mentality of tyrants of the past and present, we
can understand how innocent people might be faced with inconceivable destruction and enslavement if drastic changes are not forthcoming!

Setting proper priorities should be the number-one task for those who
hold possessions of political and economic power! Instead, we are witnessing competition and confrontation between leaders of nations who are seeking to dominate adversaries. Unfortunately for lovers of peaceful civilizations, the
nuclear risk is growing greater due to barbarians who are willing to commit suicidal acts against humankind. The "fuse" that will ignite the last great conflict will be the ignorance, spiritual degeneration and insanity of disgruntled minorities who hate instead of love their neighbors!

If idiots get their hands on nuclear weapons, they will not fail to destroy what it took centuries to create!

These thoughtful words out of the mouth of Albert Einstein are just as relevant in 2004 as they were on the day when they were spoken:
"Large parts of the world are faced with starvation, while others are living in abundance. The nations were promised liberation and justice, but we have witnessed and are witnessing, even now, the sad spectacle of liberating armies firing into populations who want their independence and social equality, and supporting in those countries by force of arms, such parties and personalities as appear to be most suited to serve vested interests. Territorial questions and arguments of power, obsolete though they are, still prevail over the essential demands of common welfare and justice."

"Einstein was just an ordinary man," some cynical people might say while discounting his views on certain issues. Maybe being a genius doesn't qualify a person to have valid opinions? Maybe we should all be taking the diverse comments of movie stars more seriously? Maybe we should be wondering what the Bible has to say about these end of days?

"Then shall ye return, and discern between the righteous and the wicked, between him that serveth God and him that serveth him not. For,
behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the LORD of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings; and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall. And ye shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, saith the LORD of hosts." Malachi 3:18, 4:1-3
The Nuclear Curse
By Tennessee Elijah
Albert Einstein said, "Concern for man himself must always constitute the chief objective of all technological effort -- concern for the big, unsolved problems of how to organize human work and the distribution of commodities in such a manner as to assure that the results of our scientific thinking may be a blessing to mankind, and not a curse."
The voice you hear is Albert Einstein...

After receiving the email above, September 8, 2004,
I cancelled my account with MSN. Also, I cancelled all email accounts with my web host and my account with COMCAST, my Internet provider. Therefore, "Elijah" will no longer be available
online to those who desire personal communications. In addition
to canceling email, I cancelled my access to the Internet -- rather than suffer false accusations from a
profane minority. Elijah web sites will remain until "paid-in-advance" services expire in 2010.

NOTE: For those who are not familiar with the word "profane" as used in conjunction with "minority," it simply means that less than 3 percent of those contacted by Elijah when sending email messages are responsible for this choice to stop communications.
pro·fane
Pronunciation: prO-'fAn, pr&-
Function: transitive verb
Inflected Form(s): pro·faned; pro·fan·ing
Etymology: Middle English prophanen, from Latin profanare, from profanus
1 : to treat (something sacred) with abuse, irreverence, or contempt : DESECRATE
2 : to debase by a wrong, unworthy, or vulgar use
- pro·fan·er noun

Let it be known that September of 2004 is the time when Elijah ceased personal communications as provided by the MSN email services. There will be an obvious correlation between this rejection of a prophet and future events for them. Let the messages on this web site speak for themselves!
My intentions at this time in September of 2004 is to discontinue my activities on the Internet -- except for occasional trips to a public library to review the status of this web site. Other than spending time with my family and friends, I will continue writing or doing oil paintings. Click and read my last two messages at June of 2005 and July of 2005. Messages for the remaining dates up to December of 2010 are now lost to history due to lack of cooperation from those who chose to reject me -- unless
God impresses me to return to the Internet.
IMPORTANT! In America, we have laws and Internet regulations that impede freedom of religion and freedom of speech! God is very angry about this, and so am I! More important than the civil rights granted by the Constitution -- is the purpose of true Christians who abide by these verses from the Bible: "That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; Laying up in store for themselves
a good foundation against the time to come,
that they may lay hold on eternal life."

(1 Timothy 6:18&19)

In other words, if Christians are not willing -- or are not allowed to
distribute or communicate the Word of God to lost souls in all nations according to their faith -- in whatever way they choose without restriction -- then Christians are not doing what the Bible teaches them to do! I can only warn what I know will be coming wrath from God Almighty if His purposes are stymied!
