Harken not to evil deceivers who have
brought strife against the House of God
during these days filled with confusion.
Who Are You?
By Tennessee Elijah

Who are you compared to other people?

Who are you compared to people who are younger, older, bigger, smaller, richer, poorer, smarter or dumber? Do you think it is your race, color, creed, or religion that identifies you? Is it your level of educational achievements that give you a proper perspective on yourself?

Some people actually believe they can be described by the condition of
their physical appearance, by the originality of their personality, or by the attainment of a particular status within society – based on traditional criteria. Maybe it is time for all of us to get honest with ourselves, and just admit that only God knows who we really are – not family members, neighbors or strangers in distant places!

Did you know that nothing about us is more important than what is hidden deep inside, and the “key” to who we are cannot be detected until it is manifested through words or actions? Even scientists lack the ability to describe why the important functions of a soul make human beings unique. They may dissect tissue, evaluate chemical interactions, and form opinions about patterns of thought, but Spirits found in souls cannot be scrutinized with microscopes.

Rather than introducing thousands of possibilities into our consciousness to help identify us, we might be better served if we focus a few minutes on only two spirits: Love and hate. All of us are either Lovers or haters – and these two forces coming out of souls do more to explain who we are than anything else. (I capitalize “Love” when making reference to a divine Spirit).

God in a soul produces Love; Satan in a soul produces hate!

“...A time to love, and a time to hate...” From Ecclesiastes 3:8

People who claim there is no God or no Satan are either liars or fools.

“...The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God...” From Psalms 53:1

The existence of Satan is confirmed in the Bible when we read the parable Jesus gave to explain the mystery of the Kingdom of God:

“The sower soweth the word. And these are they by the way side, where the word is sown; but when they have heard, Satan cometh immediately, and taketh away the word that was sown in their hearts.” Mark 4:14&15

God is the Creator; Satan is the imitator!

Both the Creator and the imitator are a very real part of you – and everyone of us -- as long as we inhabit fleshly bodies. If evil coming out of the heart
of Satan was not capable of penetrating souls, we would be perfect, and completely sinless. There would be no haters to make life miserable for Lovers!

Who are you?
You need to wonder if people see you in the same way as you see yourself. Do you come across like a Lover or hater in the tiny world where you live.

Do you Love or hate people who read the Bible, and who try their best to
be good Christians? Do you Love or hate people who are ugly, beautiful, popular, despised, rich, poor, weak, powerful, famous, or unknown? Do you try to be honest and kind to all people, or are you deceptive and cruel to only those you hate? Do you hate haters and Love only Lovers – or do you love haters and hate only Lovers? Do you feel more comfortable communicating with haters who are full of evil or with righteous Christians who are Lovers?

“...The soul of the wicked desireth evil...” From Proverbs 21:10

“...they that hate the righteous shall be desolate...” From Psalms 34:21

Haters pour sand in our eyes to keep us from seeing Truth; Lovers wash
sand away that blinds us with words of wisdom. Lovers are givers who are generous with their time and resources; Haters are takers who are selfish, discontent, and ungrateful. Haters poison relationships through jealousy, competition, confrontation, and rudeness; Lovers try their best to be compatible, not wanting to sow seeds of discord, and not wanting to see anyone suffer.

Thousands of more examples can be given to define each one of us. Would you like to continue this message with a reply, or by adding comments of your own by going to the message board? Will you simply read this message, shrug your shoulders, and resist the urge to participate -- thereby showing God, Satan, and all of the angels that you have no interest in being friendly? If you do decide to participate, will the words you choose to use demonstrate whether you are a saint or a sinner, a Lover or a hater?

Come on, tell us, Who are you?
